GRIEVANCE OF A SOUL

There rest a lot of pain

a lot of scars there are

burning still in his heart..

He doesn't grieve

for he has learnt well

to conceal this pain

in the deep depths of his soul

where a young boy still trapped.

His cries, His wails

breaking through the walls

can be heard, by us

by lending an ear

just to the quiescence of the midnights.

He was abandoned, left alone,

by a mother who ran away

as she cared, just of her world

that had her lover, and

all the dreams she weaved.

There went his father

though not willingly

leaving him just with his ashes

to hug close to his heart

but the tears that he shed

never wet those ashes.

And now, she is back

when he was to start afresh

to dig holes again

in his darned heart

stitched carefully by his beloved

with the sheen threads of love.

A fire again, reignite there

to strike at its fullest

at all those who must pay

for all that was done to him.

The fire will burn,

leaving his heart pure

cleaning all the dirts of his past

allowing him, to run back

to his beloved

who waits

with their happily ever after..
