Hallucination

"Let me help you sleep. Hold this rope. Now give me a few seconds and we'll set you up."

"W-wait. What are doing? N-no! P-please!"

"Ssh. Shh, child. Everything's gonna be alright once it's done."

You heard a faint choking sound from a distance.

"No! This isn't what I wanted! Please!"

"Oh, but darling. This is everything that you wished and hoped for."

"No! Please! Listen to me!"

You heard another choking sound, but it seemed to get louder. 

"Tik tok. Time's a wasting here. Didn't you always wanted to end it all?"

"Y-yes bu-but-"

"Didn't you had enough?"

"I never seem to have enough."

"Weren't you always left alone?"

"Because I wasn't ever enough."

You wondered if it was just a hallucination because you were greeted by an eerie silence for an hour.
