HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I always used to wonder why grown ups don't celebrate their birthdays or are as much as excited about it as we are. Yes, they did cut the cakes their friends managed but there was always some silence in their eyes. The silence they tell noone, an emptiness which keeps them lost.

It was until this year, that i finally got an answer. 

May be they are not happy with what they have become, may be they no longer recognize themselves. Like all of us, they too started with softness in this world, but then this world destroyed their innocence. So, when this birthday comes, they feel lost and question their existence like I have been doing since my birthday week started. Cutting cakes ,and blowing up candles feels like salt on our wounds. 

Most of us are actually not grateful and happy with the kind life we created and by making choices. we loves birthdays, no doubt but then life is not a fairy tale.

So, day after tomorrow is my birthday, and like every other adult i am too gonna make a wish on my candle and gonna hope for it to be true, for all of my happiness to be true.
