Life isn't fair,
That's what I thought...
With good reason too
Experience would haunt...
I lost so much
Yet I wanted more,
But that's not possible is it?
If you've already reached your shore?
Second chances were rare ,
Success was limited ,
I wanted so much,
But somehow it wasn't permitted..
My dreams were wrong
Life demanded something else,
And here I was in the open sky,
When all she wanted was finesse..
Yet I did not give up.
'I should have ' hope said,
But when I saw my opportunity,
It just wasn't hard to forget.
And then I met him ,
So like my dream.
He too wanted more ,
And I was happy with him..
He gave me what I wanted,
A life with no restraint or rules, no decree,
And so I said when he was asleep,
"You're exactly as I dreamt you to be."
