After venturing in the cold
Beyond the comforting warmth,
A few steps forward,
The alteration inviting,
She trods on a couple more.
After having wandered far,
The icy atmosphere
Left her sore and frozen.
Fear flooded her fragile heart,
And swiftly ran back to the start.
Having been in too much cold
The warmth brought her comfort
No more,
And so she built a new recess
An even warmer hiding place,
And there she'll stay,
The cold will touch her
Never.
