I have been talking to the sea about you
Crossing through my mind were its exact non-existent colour blue.
And the gush of the waves thought it would be difficult to let me speak up in silence
So they kept on making noises pushing their waves to leave their clue
that they  were
Listening and understanding me
When I talked to them about you.

I was wondering
How deep is a person like you?
Oh sea! Is a person's soul deeper than your fathoms anew?
If so then
Why is the soul  still glued
To that ageing body like a fading morning due?

And in the mid while,
I was talking to the sea about you
The fishes asked me if you too were warm like the sea in the winter and kept me by your side
And I had no answer nor did I want to hide
It's funny how I was still talking to them about a person
For whom I was nothing more than a someone

The corals smirked at me but the sea became quiet.
Giving all the creatures a fright
The creatures scratched their heads in confusion
But I knew
There were phenomenons responsible for this imaginary fusion
That tied my heart to yours and made me feel right.

Phenomenons that  impart that colour blue to the sea with a mere reflection of the sky
Phenomenons that talk about  possibility  of "you and I"
As deep as the sea
where my eyes only want to search for your soul and breathe.

Then there are some phenomenon that do not let the two sea water mix even if they are close enough to fix
The gap between them.
And I guess we are part of it.

But what is a soul without an imagination
So I imagine of a life
Similar to the sea
That holds so many lives within itself
All so diverse and bright
Since  we are diverse too
So I guess talking to the sea about you is right.

That is why lately I have been repeating this process
Until it grows dark and the sea lights up

I sit awestruck at its beauty
Completely quiet for a while
And then
Walk away to find you
