I want to be a Sensation-I

A Lively tale of a lifeless. Every person, every picture, every memory and everything has its own story. Let us meet the two characters of the story, who want to be a music sensation. Let us see who steals the musical night.

First day. Nervous ? Not at all. Nervous are those, who doubt their own capabilities and are not confident enough to think that they can excel. They think of themselves as inferiors. And I am no such player. In fact I feel, my body is radiating enormous energy at this moment as if I was made to the conquer this big world with my outstanding capabilities. Now all I need is an outstanding partner to match this outstanding personality. So, yes I am here in search of a partner.

My day one has just begun and two hours have passed, since I stepped out in this world. I am in no hurry, because I know 'quality matters' or in simple words, I need an 'outstanding' partner for my dreams to come true. I want to be a sensation. 

(After the end of day one) 

Its okay, it was my first day, just the beginning, I am, in no hurry. I am well aware of the fact that one has to wait for the good things to happen. Its okay to wait for something fruitful ! 

(Days passed by and our boastful overconfident narrator, didn't get a partner. Days begin to be gloomy and nights, full of doubts. Our narrator at times, lost hope, then regained it, by chanting and recalling about 'the sensational dreams'. What puts the moral down, is the unnecessary and less liked options, we are offered, when nothing goes in our favour.)

I think I should not accept anything below my standards, but what lowers my confidence, is the proposal of some lunatic people. That day, a ten year old came. The moment we had an eye contact, I was like "No please". I know these kids, whatever they see in the first go, they want it, without thinking. Maybe that is why, it is said a child's heart is innocent. Poor kid, I am sorry that my extravagant 'energy' allured you, but I want to be a sensation. And another day a couple came. Oh God, I had never seen somebody singing like that, such high notes ! And even after singing so rubbish, he thought he was a rockstar. Have you heard the story of a donkey, who loves singing but doesn't sing well. This donkey is stopped by his friend, the fox, who advised him, not to sing, as he will be inviting the troubles. And yet he sung and was beaten up by the villagers. After hearing this man, I felt, forget about the neighbours, his own wife might.... Well that 'empty confidence' is recommendable !!

(A month passed. By this time, our narrator was deserted with his own thirst. And a time comes when you stop chasing things. That's what happened with our narrator. But well this is the time when a ray of hope enters our life and turn the tables.)

Another day started as the previous days had begun. Another two hours passed like they had passed on the last thirty days, but then something happened, the time stopped. It had to stop, because my partner had entered my life. We had an eye contact, she looked at me, as the other people, who had earlier visited, had looked. Then she looked around all the contenders. There was an amalgamated feeling of confidence and fear. Confidence that I will win her and fear, what if she didn't connect with my aspirations and my extraordinary capabilities. Now what made me want her as a partner, was her extremely beautiful voice-feeble and soulful. Okay she didn't seem quite equipped with the musical notes and the knowledge required to be a sensation. But together we will work it out.And another reason was she appeared to be timid. She will be fun to work with, we will rehearse and be a sensation together. But the question is, will she accept me? She looked at me again, this time with a little more interested expression. I looked at her, like some princess, requesting her prince to rescue her.

"This one please" said the timid voice. The deal was made ! I was hers and she was mine. What a feeling it was ! I was relieved as well as happy. I could now see my dream of being a sensation, being played by a sensational artist and rocking the world, come true ! Very nicely I was packed and taken to my partner's car, towards my new home. Yes from a musical showroom to a new house. You guessed it right, I am a musical Keyboard, who dreams of being played by a sensational artist in order to be a sensation myself. And now I see my dreams coming true. 

Her name is Shreya Singh; I saw when the deal was being made. And I am glad she didn't unpack me today, even I need rest after so much of activities that happened today, by activities I meant going though so many emotional ups and downs.

(Two days passed by. Shreya didn't unpack the keyboard. And now our narrator was in rush. Well who doesn't want to enter the arena, after waiting for so long. Two days later....)

Today I am hearing two more sounds. Oh! some more people in the house. Sounds interesting, may be she has called them, to make me meet them or may be we will have additional members in the team to assist us or oh my gosh ! band members. Anyways unpack me girl !

(The keyboard was finally unpacked and what seems, doesn't actually happen.)

Along with Shreya stood a boy of almost her age and an old lady. They had closed her eyes. The boy said, "Mumma surprise" and opened her eyes. She was elated with joy and gave a satisfying and accomplished smile. But why is this old lady so happy to see me ! "Mumma, this is your Keyboard, a gift from both of us, so that you can fulfill all your dreams and fantasies which you left behind, years ago" said the girl.

What! No please. An amarteur ! that too to complete her old, years ago fantasies. No !!!!!

(The Keyboard is shattered at the moment. What will happen next? Will the Keyboard will accept and co-operate with its new partner? Why did Shreya gifted this keyboard to her mother? Why is her mother, an amarteur, so interested in playing the keyboard. We will get to know in the subsequent parts..... To be continues..... Part II)
