SHE KNOWS IT ALL !!!!

Info

"Do I over react? Do I always push the panic button?" asked  Ashita to herself. "What did I do this time? How did she know this time?" wondered Ashita. "She knows it all !!!!!"

Ashita Arora was a twenty years old, college going girl, who lived her parents and paternal grandmother (Dadi). Ashita was a very shy and modest girl. But her decency didn't stop her to take the sweet pleasures of her teenage or college life. Ashita was one of the most studious child in her family and thus she was expected to maintain her reflection of a studious girl all the time. But like any other girl, she also had her own stories. But how come "she knows it all!!!!! "thought Ashita. Now who is she, who knows it all? And what does she know? is the question, in which, we all are interested. But Ashita was interested in the question how does she gets to know all my secrets. Recalling her school days, when she was staring Bhaskar in the parent teachers' meet, she caught her eyes. Off course she would stare, he was her crush !!!! And every time Ashita had a crush, she came to know. But how come????? So she came to know about all her crushes. "She" was her dadi. It is said that, older a person gets, the lesser they hear and the lesser they see. "Nopes that's false in my dadi's case" thought Ashita. So, it was a parent teachers' meet and Ashita suddenly saw her crush Bhaskar. Those broad shoulders in a polo t-shirt could not stop her to stare. Ashita's dadi was standing next to her and she suddenly caught her eyes. When Ashita realised it; it was too late. Now her dadi never directly asked her something because that would give her a confirmation of what she did. So in the evening she asked Ashita, "He was your classmate?". "Who dadi?". "That boy in grey.....". "Yeah, he is a friend". "Okay if he is your friend ask him to visit us someday" smiled dadi and went away. That was very odd for her.

And now the same thing had happened in her college life also. Ashita had this good habit, now she thought as a bad habit, to discuss everything at home. Her elder cousin had advised her many times to keep her personal life under coverage especially from dadi. So it was 9 pm and the Arora family sat for their dinner. Mrs. Arora asked Ashita how would she cover all the syllabus, she had missed in the college due to her illness. To this Ashita replied, "Mumma, college studies are not to be given so much importance. Anyways I have Jay, he would help me." Now it was dadi's turn. " Jay!!!!! you often speak about him. Who is he? ". " Dadi, he is just a friend". " We don't talk so much about just a friend. Surely he is a good friend. Ask him to join us for a dinner or lunch". Ashita nodded. She suddenly thought " Ishaan is also a good friend of mine, dadi never asked me to bring him home or a lunch or so."

After being scrutinized n number of times, Ashita had to give up. It was late in the night when Ashita was discussing something really important with Jay. A voice interrupted , " What is it, that's so urgent, that you could not wait for tomorrow morning!!!!.". Ashita was terrified. Dadi continued, " You always talk about him only. You always hang out with him only. I think he is your lover, what we call - boyfriend". Ashita's astonishment was beyond any expression.

She calmed down and said," Dadi he is really good friend of mine. And now I have started liking him alot, hence he is my crush".

"What is this crush????"

" When we like somebody in a romantic manner and he is not aware about it. And we are also unaware about his feeling towards us."

" One sided love????"

"Yeah kind of."

"Oh I wish he has the same feelings for you."

"What!!!!! I cannot believe what you are saying dadi".

"My investigation says he is a nice guy."

"You investigated?????".

"I have always done this with all your so called crushes".

" Dadi, how do you know about everything"

"You are my child, dear and a girl too. I have also lived my youth. Anyways it's late. Go to sleep my child. And yes he is a nice guy but don't get attached to anybody so much. Good night my love."

Ashita was surprised by what had happened 10 minutes ago. Ashita concluded, " Moral of the story, we children always think that our elders know nothing but we forget that they have also crossed our age.

Ashita could now have a sound sleep, because now she knew HOW SHE KNOWS IT ALL. She smiled and slept.
