Last night i had a dream
I saw you sitting there with her
Someone asked from the background
Who supports you in the match
I saw only one hand raised for approval
I walked quietly slaying my desire to raise it for you
But then something gushed through me
I raised mine too, my trembling hand which could not raise more than two inches
Once i did, others followed
A gush of happiness that you once swallowed
Was palpable on your face
I could see your smile flowing in the haze
You stood up for the battle
I kept quiet but felt the rattle
Of my heart that pounded
Then you came close to me
I was astounded
You gave me a tight hug
I burst out embracing you a side hug
Your face was something I couldn't see as my emotions were high enough
You went, who knows you won or not coz i didn't see anything much
But i won in my dreams
Having you beside me felt so green and felt so clean
