In a perfect world only

"Could you hear my heart beating?

Could you hear that sound?

I wish it would not stop here,

I wish gravity would pull it towards you."

just like that dot in the nightsky

you almost did not shine;

almost not visible,

but only in the beginning.

you shine so little;

your light

must be from a thousand years ago,

or million, hundred; unsure

is glooming here.

dim, weak, faded

almost shallow

unseen.

my eyes though

were crazy enough

(or not?)

to be able to

see you.

out of all the

dots, bigger dors,

it spotted you.

as if you went here

on your own

just like that light star

you went here

strong,

bright,

crazy enough?

"Am I your gravity?

Am I pulling you close?

but that light,

that I was able to pull,

that I was able to see,

that was just

your residue,

your past,

not you.

"My gravity.

Am I your gravity?

Are you my gravity?"

i want you here

with me,

whole

complete

real, here

in my reality.

not just your light.

but that's impossible,

and so they say.

you are light years ago,

You are a million miles

away.

you are the past

i am my present;

i am your future

you are my present.

and time here

do not seem to coincide

with yours.

i hope,

no,

i can only wish

that gravity would

help me through.

if it's not possible,

just a good pull

by gravity,

i'll try to pull

through,

take you here

with me.

or maybe, would you

also become my gravity?

you're my past

i'm your future

if gravity would just work

between us

we'll become each other's present.
