"You loved him so much, didn't you?"
Loved? No, I still love him, I always will. He was everything that I could've asked for. He could look into my eyes and not look away if I looked longer. I could see galaxies in his eyes. He held my hand like it was the only thing he'd craved to hold.
No one can ever take his place, no one can ever replace him. No one can go on a movie date with me and keep looking at me instead of the movie and when you ask him why he's looking then no one else can lean close to your ears and whisper, "I can't stop looking at you". No one else is ever gonna call me at 2 am just to tell me he loves me and how thankful he is to have me in his life. No one else is ever gonna understands my deep talks the way he did.
With him, I felt no less than a fairytale author. He was the kind of guy you read about in novels. The kind of guy that sets your soul on fire, the kind of guy that makes you believe in fairy tales.
But then, not all fairy tales have a happy ending. Some stories are just left incomplete like a half written paragraph, a half read book, closed without an ending.
We couldn't make it to forever for we were meant to be just an 'almost'.
