In the morning glad i see
A kite strung on a wire
Behind the street lamp
As its large shadow fell on the
tall houses plastered wall
Some poor lads bad luck probably
Something that was once meant to fly high
Is now so limited to just the wires vicinity
Yet it didn't looked sad at all
It doesn't seemed to be botherd by its fate, no not even slightly
I wonder what would happen if rain comes pouring down
Or a kid throws-stone at it from the ground
Or the sun shines too bright
Or the seasons decide to show their might
None of it seemed to bother that kite
As it danced around that wire
I wonder what it would say
If that kite could speak
Would it say
I'm so fragile
I'm just a kite,
Unlike most of you atleast i tried
Or would it say
Indeed I'm a kite
And was meant to fly
But its fate that I'm to abide
I think it would give different lessons to
Different people
But for me
Looking at it gives me a feeling of serenity.
What would you do when your train is 16 hours out of schedule. Write a poem of course.
