This perfectly mortifying act of letting go?
For no matter what and how hard you try
It will always make you foolishly hope
When do you decide to do it?
When you think you're too tired to go on?
Or do you think of letting go
When someone has left you and gone?
How do you do it?
Do you make up your mind in a minute?
Or do you take a few hours to brood?
Your thoughts don't they seem too infinite?
Its not easy is it..?
That's what I've been told so many a time
You're so good at saying the necessary
But when it comes to letting go, don't you wish you could hide?
What is this, this letting go?
All I know is, this art requires perfection
But so many times people feel confused
That it is foolish, and a misconception
Is letting go necessary?
Does it always need to be done or not?
Don't you think sometimes that it was good if you didn't let go
But if you didn't it would just make your insides rot
Letting go is the right thing to do
Its not easy ,no , and I never said it is
And its certainly easier said than done
But if you let go, your relief won't go amiss
Letting go is hard and so much too
But it need to be done its like a shive
Because if you clutch on to anything so tight
It will die in your grasp and never thrive...
Its not easy and it hurts
But if you don't he won't be the first
