The dried leaves rustled announcing the advent of Fall, looking out of her window she saw the birds gathering food before winter like a demon gulp them down.Even the chill in the air reminded her of the barreness of her heart. She could fathom that 'his' warmth has gone forever.
She saw the juicy mangoes of the last lot bidding her adieu. The sky looked tired and wanted to rest. She felt herself to be like those busy birds preparing to greet the freezing winter, she too was toiling hard to get used to this solitude. His presence was always like the bright sunny noons of the winter days, hopeful and animating. She was like the little child craving for company and he was like the magician capturing her in awe with his tricks. She was like the scintillating sea and he was like the ray of sun falling on it.Never did she think that life will leave her at this juncture and make her feel so timid.
She tried to fight with her inner demons. She knew life would never be the same for her.She did everything she could to occupy herself. She befriended the same demons who terrified her once. She felt used to the Silence of the Night and the frigidity of the days that passed by.She embraced solitude and for her now the sounds of people were a clamour to her ears.
It's strange how people grow with time. The same little child was like her own Magician shooing away her deepest fears. The same sea which mirrored the Sun now appeared to be deeper hiding inside it an art gallery of beautiful corals awaiting to get explored. She knew that even if Fall took away the green of the leaves and Winter was ready to cast it's long spell, new leaves will soon grow and Robins would soon fill the atmosphere with it's magic. She knew she had to wait to see the Daffodils and Tulips tossing their heads in joy and she was ready to bask in happiness once again.
