Let's spare a moment for simple observations

I came across a nice phrase which has a simple yet powerful message "Enjoy the little things in life for one day you will look back and realize these were great things in life." 

 When we ignore the little things around us in our busy schedule, we are missing something great in our life. Nature has so much to give but we don't have time to observe the beauty of nature.

A creative person say a good photographer, a writer or a poet will be a great observer. An excellent photographer captures the images of small things around us which we daily see but don't care to observe or find time to enjoy. Similarily, poetry flows out from the poet's thoughts, observations and imaginations. There is something which made me write about this. Today I happened to see the photos which one of my close friends uploaded in facebook. The pictures were uploaded with a caption 'The days when I use to go out daily with my cam '. I saw a rare collections of pictures there. The sunset, flying birds, playing kids, the wrinkled face of an old man, a lonely girl with a bouquet in her hands, beautiful mountains, sleeping elephant, a small child drawing on the sand of beach, picture which looks as if a man is holding the setting sun in his hands, a piece of paper burning in fire, kerala art forms like kathakali, mohiniyattam and soon. I liked all the images so much that I was not sure which one I should comment on. All were stunning. I realized that we are missing something really great in life when we miss out these little wonders around us just because we don't care to observe. Remembering the few lines which I learnt when I was a child as I write these. We often forget these in our life as we grow up

All things bright and beautiful,

All creatures great and small,

All things wise and wonderful

The Lord God made them all.
