LOCKED DOWN

Can I stop trying this year
and just go with whatever flow
I promise to rethink everything
and start again next year

Yes, maybe next year's a better year to dream
I feel like all decisions I'll be making this year
are clouded with anxiety and fear
fear of the unknown

I fear that this year will put an end to my dream
I fear that this year will forever change me,
the way I view all thing and people
I'm starting to think of isolation

What keeps running in my mind is to walk away
live alone, away from people I know
start a new life, leave everything behind
I hope to God these thoughts are not the beginning of
depression
