CHAPTER 1 – DREAMS

Keerthi was an independent and successful woman. Since childhood, she always dreamt of working in the corporate world and wanted to start a small business. At the age of 24, she was living her dream life. She had a secured job, a high salary, her own flat in Jubilee Hills, and happy life. Though she was all alone, her friends were her world.

One day, she got an offer to work with a team on a project. She had to travel to France for the project. Through this project, she had the opportunity of getting a promotion as a team head.

For two long years, she had been crushing on a guy secretly. Though she was single and saw many men, she felt he was the one. She worked day and night and would see him every day in the office. She never interacted with him or tried to work with him. This project allowed her to work in his team.

Kriyansh was a good-looking and wealthy man. He was 28 years old and the project manager of the company. He had all the dream guy qualities that a girl would wish for! When the project began, they both got closer.

CHAPTER 2 – THE SECRET LOVE

The team had traveled from Hyderabad to France. The team worked day and night. Keerthi felt as if this was an adventure in her life. It was her first international trip. Whenever Kriyansh would chat with her, he would always leave hints that he liked her. Keerthi knew what was in his heart and would act as if she knew nothing. One evening in the city of love, Paris Kriyansh planned a small surprise after dinner for Keerthi. The entire team was celebrating New Year at a club whereas Kriyansh took Keerthi out.

10 minutes for NEW YEAR under the Eiffel tower

Kriyansh took Keerthi to the Eiffel tower. In the cold weather, around many people, he felt the magic when he saw Keerthi in her red glitter gown and was all set to present his surprise. He held her hand and went on his knees to propose to her with a diamond ring. Wholeheartedly he said, “Keerthi, You are the woman for whom I have been looking and have been waiting. I fell in love with you the day I saw you. Taking this magical moment as the opportunity here, I am on my knees to tell my lady that I Love You!”

Keerthi was surprised and felt too emotional. She replied, “All my life, I have been waiting for a man like you. I have never expected this surprise from you. Thank you for making this moment perfect. My man thank you for making it magical. I love you too!”.

While everyone celebrated the New Year, these two love birds were madly in love with each other and were happy to start a new chapter of their lives.

After six months in France and three months in love with each other, they arrived in Hyderabad.

Keerthi and Kriyansh kept their relationship a secret. No one in the office had a single clue that they were in love except one man who stayed in Keerthi’s colony, Abhinav. Abhinav was Kriyansh and Keerthi’s mutual friend. He was more like a brother to her.

The France project was successful, and as per the deal, Keerthi got her promotion - Team head. She bought a house for him. Standing on the balcony, she dreamt of marrying him one day.

CHAPTER 3 – THE UNFORTUNATE

For two long years, they were in love. Keerthi heard too many rumors about Kriyansh but never believed in them. It was Kriyansh’s birthday, and Keerthi went to his cabin to surprise him. As she opened the door, she was shocked to see him with another girl. She caught him red-handed and was in tears. He tried to explain but she left without listening to him.

They both broke up. She felt horrible for whatever happened. She felt as if darkness had entered her life. Her heart broke into pieces, and she had no hope to live. Despite listening to his character, she realized that she blindly loved him. Her health became worse, and she went for a regular check-up at the hospital. She got a hope to live when the doctor gave her good news that she was pregnant.

Keerthi didn’t know what to do. She hated Kriyansh for being with other women, but she also wanted the baby as it was the only hope for her as she felt. She asked Kriyansh to see her that night, and she told him that she was pregnant.

He reacted happily and said, “This is the best news I heard!” and hugged her. She thought he didn’t want to have a baby but, she felt okay when he was happy. He proposed her to get married and she felt as if she was on cloud nine. With happy tears, she said, “YES”

After 2 months

They shifted to their apartment, and Kriyansh did not leave a single moment to look after her. Though they maintained the secret like before in the office, they waited to surprise everyone after fixing a date for their marriage.

One afternoon Keerthi went out with Kriyansh for lunch. After having lunch, he ordered her favourite juice while she was on call. She fell unconscious in the restaurant as soon as they were leaving. He was worried, and he took her to the hospital. After she woke up, the nurse told her that she had undergone an abortion. He was sorry to her and said, “The doctor told your health was not good. You are not ready to give birth to a baby now and may have to face too many complications later. Abortion was the only option. You were important to me more than the baby. I am so sorry for taking this decision without you my darling”.

He took care of her for the next two months and started to see other women like before. And Keerthi was still dreaming of getting married to him.

CHAPTER 4 – THE TRUTH

Abhinav knew the whole love story. One evening, Keerthi was expressing her grievances. She cried, saying that Kriyansh was not talking to her at all. Her dreams of getting married to him were fading away. Abhinav was drunk that evening. He told her the truth unconsciously that Kriyansh never wanted to have the baby. He said, “Kriyansh always wanted to be in the good books. He made everyone think that his character was real. He was a player. He maintained good relations with everyone and did bad things behind. Keerthi, he desired to be with you but not for love. That day it was him who mixed the tablets in your juice. He planned to take you to the hospital that day instructed by his friend, doctor friend Meehira. He was the one who killed your baby and tried to be good to you to maintain his profile in society. You were healthy enough and, he lied to you about your health. My heart breaks to see my sister crying like this”.

Keerthi was in a blank state and did not know how to react. Though Abhinav forgot what he had spoken to her that evening, she hated herself for months. She hated herself for loving a man like Kriyansh. She was guilty of being with him and was depressed about losing her baby. She wanted to commit suicide.

CHAPTER 5 – PUNISHMENT

Keerthi followed Kriyansh for months and observed what he was doing to other girls. She tried to be nice to him. One afternoon, she went to meet him in his cabin. She repeated his plan of juice and made him unconscious.

While he was unconscious, she took his phone, downloaded all the data with her skills, and left the room silently. She collected all the shady pieces of evidence that he always hid from society. She met all the girls who were ditched by Kriyansh. After listening to their stories, she wanted justice for all these girls and many others who were facing someone like Kriyansh in society. She planned something which she did not even think of doing. Keerthi resigned from her job and worked restlessly to find a way to reveal Kriyansh’s reality.

After four months

The girls who suffered because of Kriyansh were ready to file a case with the proofs. With the help of a lawyer, Keerthi filed a case in court against Kriyansh. She submitted all the data of Kriyansh and fought the case in court. She exposed all his true colours and his shady side. The girls came out as the victims in the case and, he pleaded guilty. The court decided to punish him for a lifetime. And he was arrested.

The well-known man's reputation came down in society. The whole office shattered after reading about Kriyansh’s reality in the news. He had no other way and asked his mother to get him bail. His mother did not meet him and sent a letter. In the letter, she mentioned that she was shameful to bring someone like him onto this Earth and had abandoned him.

He had no other way and spent time in jail. He realized his mistakes. He understood that it was only Keerthi who loved him truly. He asked for help from her. Keerthi met him in jail and was not ready to listen to him. She said, “You messed up too many lives, and I think these are the deeds of your own mistakes. I was blindfolded when I was in love with you, and I did not even care about anything. I felt so terrible after what you did to me. I thought you became a better person, but no, you were the same man with too many masks. I feel dreadful that you were my past. You killed a life, you killed my baby Kriyansh! And I shall never forgive you for this”

CHAPTER 6 – THE DIFFERENT PATHS

The company's reputation had come down because of Kriyansh. The company was shut down by the public forcefully. Kriyansh was a nightmare in Keerthi’s life and was a monster in society with a mask. Kriyansh was one such example who was exposed to society. There were many other men like him. Seeing the case which did justice to the victims, many other women raised their voices. They fought for themselves and for their safety.

The companies focused more on the safety of women. So that no woman should go through the way other girls did because of Kriyansh.

Keerthi started her own business and helped many other girls who were suffering like her. Within less time, her business grew heights and heights. Besides doing her own software business, she started an NGO to educate girls and spread awareness about women's safety and rights. She became a role model to many women and continued to do good things in society.

Kriyansh was guilty of his mistakes. He punished himself every day for cheating on a girl like Keerthi and killing her baby. He understood that it was his own mistakes that ruined his life. He killed his baby and was abandoned by his mother made him suffer till his death.
