   Introduction

                                                     “Love at first sight” many of us don’t believe in this theory may be because sometimes the opposite person is not ready to accept our love or the way we are. Love happens to everyone. They say it was love when I first saw him/her during my schooling; it was love when I first saw him/her during my college days; it was love when I first saw him/her during my post-graduation days; it was love when I first saw him/her at my work place and it was love when I settled down in my life and found him/her. Love has undefined feelings. It is the most powerful feeling in this universe.

                                                    Most of us have one-side love stories which we never expressed to him/her in our life. When we grew up we asked ourselves why we couldn’t express that time and if we had got back in time to the moment where we fell in love we all would say, “It is only because I did not want to lose the friendship. What if I expressed? Then he/she would have never wanted to see my face”. This is the most common feeling which we all had or still have. This feeling of our one side lovers is the most beautiful feeling on this Earth. It gives us so much happiness secretly. As we grow we do carry that beautiful feeling too.

                                                     There was this girl who never believed in the theory of “Love at first sight” until she met her man. Even she did not know that life would give her so many chances to stay with him but everyone had their own destiny. "Destiny" sounds like when we want to achieve something in our life, when we want everything to be perfect and when we meet someone who is going to hold our hand to walk till the last breath of our life.

                                                    There were so many things happening in the journey of life between these two people that set a story today which you are going to read. This crazy girl used to adjust all the time she would accept all the shades of life and move on. The man in the story was so passionate about his life that things which he never expected used to happen sometimes. When this crazy girl came into his life he thought nothing would happen but the destiny had made him to stay. Love was like worship for her and unexpectedly for the first time she could not adjust in life. So, she just hoped till the last moment. They were not in favour of each other until and unless she expressed her feelings. They thought they would fall apart but destiny had something hidden for them.

                                                  There might be many doubts in their lives to describe and understand what they were actually for each other. She believed in destiny and he believed in hard work. When they realized that they had feelings for each other they continued to remain calm and stored their feelings in their hearts. They say girls can’t hide their feelings for a long time. Well destiny decided something and fate created such feelings.

                              The Secret 

                                                     Music was life, dance was passion, acting was love and photography was happiness for her. These four things and Chennai her home town completed her. She was brought up in a typical orthodox cultured Tamilian family. Those were the days where she was lost in some other world because of many reasons. Personality looked normal but her mind was somewhere else all the time. She used to learn Carnatic music and Bharatanatyam in an academy in Chennai. Since her childhood she was into these classy things. Being the only daughter to her parents her cousins never made her feel lonely. It was a big classy house filled with a happy joint family just like those times of the 1980's. .

                                                    The only thing that varies her from her family was the "Love for Acting". Since the day she started watching movies she started loving those characters. The way the actors and actresses used to live in the characters of the movie inspired her very much. When she was 7 years old she wanted to become an actress. She wanted to do all those traditional roles and represent her 1980's culture on the screen. Now this exactly sounds like a black and white classic life. She actually wanted to live such a life. She felt good that she is not into these new generation weird things. She expressed her love for acting and films to her parents but they refused her ideas. It was okay for her because she believed that destiny would take her to her dreams.

                                                   “Deepthi” was her name and acting was her love. She was the only girl who was learning classical music and dance in her entire family. It sounds good when she is different from others. She always used to feel every moment in her life. Her seniors from the music class were just like an extended family for her. One of her senior “Karthik” used to live beside the Music College; he was more like a sibling for her. They used to meet frequently and most of the seniors used to spend some time daily after the classes. The endless talks and smiles on all their faces were like magical things of her life.

October 2013, One Evening…….

                                                    It felt something was going to happen or someone would enter in her life. She never felt like this before she had a different feeling.

Meanwhile in the break time during her dance class….....

                                                     As she came out for some fresh air into the balcony she saw this guy through his window from a distance which was opposite to her dance class. He looked so dashing and handsome which made her fall in love with him at the first sight. He was busy working on his computer and did not even realize that she was looking at him from her class. She felt as if she saw him before too. She had a desire to meet him. She left it to her life that if she would meet him yeah then definitely maybe she would meet him one day.

                                                    For two long years she used to look at him during her break hours. Whenever she used to see him in her surroundings she would just look at him and think, “Where did I meet this guy”. In these two long years she tried to track him but she was confused whether it was him or not.

On a rainy day during her break time…………….

                                                    She went out to see him. He was looking out of the window and he suddenly saw her! She turned around with shyness and ran into the class.

After the class……..

                                                     She searched for him again but she was upset that she could not find him. While she was walking back home she saw him crossing by her way. He was fair, his greenish hazel eyes stole her heart, his looks and height everything was so perfect. Like those old classic stories she believed that she would get a chance to meet him.

                                                     From 2013 to 2015 Deepthi was in love with her window guy. In these two years she loved him secretly. Running behind him unknowingly, watching him during the dance classes, looking at him again and again by following his way sometimes. He was her secret crush and she did not tell anyone about her feelings which she had on him. He was her only special secret.

                                                     Her year was not going well. There were many ups and downs and there were fights going on in her college. She totally lost confidence as a leader of the college but then she used to think about "The Window Guy" and there was so much power boosted in her like anything. Thinking about him even brought solutions to her problems in life and gave her some confidence. Things were changing and there was a new hope now.

In the year 2015………….

                                                    As she was browsing a few short films to watch in her free time she found something interesting and suddenly her heart, her mind, everything became conscious. She stopped blinking her eyes when she found "The Window Guy" in a short film.

                                                  Deepthi was wondering whether it's him or not. Those acting skills stole her heart but then she thought it might be some other guy who looks like him because his style of living is so simple. She thought he might be working in some software company rather than in films. She still tried to gather all his details and tried to know this name and it did not happen.

30th October 2015 at Karthik’s birthday party………

                                                    Most of the seniors from music class attended the party. It was fun, those endless talks, stories and playing like kids around. They sang so many songs and had dinner together. What a day it was for Deepthi! These moments were meant to carry forever in their hearts. Karthik was a blessing in her life.

                                                    When she came back home she got a notification on her phone. As she was going through the news feed she saw a picture on Karthik's Facebook timeline. It was none other than a picture with the Window Guy! And guess what? The very next moment she started stalking him to know more about him. She stalked him in all the ways and got to know her hero’s name…. "Nandan" he was popularly known as "Nandu".

                                                  Deepthi started to jump on her bed with madness. Deepthi was on cloud nine! It was like life was choosing something new for her. "Nandu" a new word, a new person and her first crush hmm....for now she could say that he was just her crush. He was the same guy that she saw in those short films. He was the same guy that she used to see him daily, that guy who looks so cute with his innocent eyes, that guy who stays opposite her dance class. She could not believe like a few days back she saw him in a short film and here she was searching for his details now.

                                                 Nandu was trying to become an actor in the film industry. His world was all about digital marketing, films, stories, acting, politics and travelling. He had completed his B.Tech and refused his internship job offers only because he wanted to work in the film industry. He was a cricket player too. He had played for the Under-19 Hyderabad team against Bangalore way back in 2010. But the only thing which was odd for Deepthi was that he was 4 years elder to her.

During the final year of Degree…..

                                                   This year totally changed Deepthi’s life. During those college elections there were huge fights and politics going on. The college students divided themselves into two big groups and were against each other. However after facing so many problems and dealing with the college issues Deepthi’s group was always at the right side. The opposite group members slowly understood what was right and what was wrong after the victory of Deepthi’s group. Though the other group wanted to cheat everyone and spread all the false statements their true colours were out. At last they got their punishments and proved themselves that they weren't worthy enough to influence the other students in a good way.

                                                   Everyone was a bit shocked because students were fighting like kids. Deepthi felt broken for all those fake and false statements which we made just to defeat her but she stood strong like a rebel and faced it boldly. As the head of the Cultural Club in her college she tried to involve as many students as she could for various functions and slowly things came back not normal. The college was gaining more name and fame because of the student’s talents.

The Meet

2016,

After 10 months of Deepthi stalking him and exactly 4 days before Nandu’s birthday. One evening after Deepthi’s dance class………

                                                   Deepthi came to meet Karthik and everyone who were talking in the garden area and all of a sudden her eyes stopped to blink when she saw Nandu who was standing right there. Deepthi’s window guy!! He wore a red check shirt and dark blue jeans. With a clean shave he stood like a hero near the car and was talking to one of her seniors. As she was talking to her brother Karthik she could not take her eyes off him.

As Deepthi desperately wanted to talk to Nandu ……..

Deepthi: (Slowly whispered in Karthik’s ear) This Anna looks good only with a beard. I don't know why he looks odd without a beard.

Karthik: (Started to laugh, gave Deepthi a hi-five and looked at Nandu) Look what my sister is telling you look good with your beard only.

(Deepthi got very angry on Karthik that she wanted to hit him but as everyone was there she could not do it and when Nandu looked at her she started feeling shy)

Nandu: (Laughed out loudly and Deepthi felt as if her heart beat had skipped) Thank You! I just wanted to shave soo...Yeah!

(Deepthi acts as if she never saw him and tried to behave normal. There was so much going on in her mind about him. She was hiding her feelings and pretended to act smart. And when suddenly Nandu looked at her she started to behave abnormally)

Nandu: (Asked her in a polite way) Hey! Could I know your good name?

Karthik: (Shouting) DEEPTHI IYER!!

Nandu: (Pointing his finger towards Deepthi and looking at Karthik) OH! She is Iyer!

(Deepthi got so scared and started to over think like why did he take my surname?? Does he know anything about me already?)

Deepthi: (In a soft tone acting innocently) Karthik Anna I guess I saw this Anna somewhere.

Karthik: He is doing short films and he is trying to become an actor.

Deepthi: (Looking at Nandu) Then I think I must have watched a few of his short films. He looks familiar.

(Nandu heard this and looked at her. That one look where Deepthi fell for him again.)

Nandu: Which short film of mine have you watched?

Deepthi: 2-3 short films may be. I don't remember the names because I just keep watching short films all the time randomly.

Nandu: (Raising his eyebrows) Oh!

(It was time for Deepthi to go back home and as it started to drizzle but she wanted to stay there for some more time)

As Nandu came forward and gave Deepthi a shake hand…………

Deepthi: (With a wide smile where she could not control herself) It was great meeting you.

Nandu: (Smiled at Deepthi) Me too.  

                                                    Deepthi went back home as Nandu stayed there for some more time talking to his friends. At 9pm Deepthi sent a request to Nandu on Facebook. He immediately accepted. Deepthi’s heart was beating faster as she started the conversation with him.

Deepthi: Hi Annaya!

Nandu: Hey Iyer! You can call me with my name.

Deepthi: Oh! Sorry but I mean you are elder to me and I just can’t take your name, maybe it will become uncomfortable for me.

Nandu: It is okay, no problem you can call me Nandu.

Deepthi: I will try.

Nandu: Don’t try just me “Nandu”.

Deepthi: Hmm…Okay. Could you send me the links of your short films if possible?

Nandu: Okay! Could you add me on What’sApp? Because I am not that active on Facebook.

Deepthi: Okay!

                                                    She could just not believe that he asked her to call him with his name and gave his phone number too! She saved his phone number and thought to text him on What’sApp on his birthday which was after 4 days. She was very happy as it started to rain heavy. She felt something magical that night. Nandu was also happy that he spoke to Deepthi as he liked talking to dancers and she was a dancer already.

31st August 2016 Nandu’s Birthday…..

                                                   Finally after 4 long days the day came for Deepthi to start her conversation with him again. After all she was feeling the magic from one side about that actor.

Deepthi: Happy Birthday Actor! See you soon in theatres!

Nandu: Thank You So Much Iyer! (With a heart symbol)

                                                   Though she used to speak with so many guys she used to feel his each and every message. “Iyer” was like a stamp or a brand now. She knew it was wrong to have feelings for a guy who was older to her but somehow she liked to have feelings for him.

30th September 2016 at Karthik’s birthday party………

                                                    Like every year it was Deepthi’s favourite day again. She wore a new pink colour frock as they were celebrating Dussehra today. She had a lot of fun at Karthik’s place but she had to go back home soon. This time again her heart skipped a beat and her eyes stopped blinking when Nandu came in front of her. She thought she was dreaming but no it was the reality.

Deepthi’s thoughts as the time froze at that moment……..

                                                    She went near him and looked into Nandu’s eyes. There was beautiful music playing behind in the garden area and Nandu started to take her in his arms. They started to feel the music and themselves in that beautiful garden where there was a rainbow in the sky. His black shirt weakened her and her beautiful long frock stole his heart. She was never so happy; she was feeling her soul, her heart beat, the beautiful weather which was making her fall in love, the cool breeze which was touching her face and what not? She was feeling everything which was around her as if there was some magical show going on.

Meanwhile Nandu wishes Karthik and looks at Deepthi. He calls her twice but she doesn’t respond and all of a sudden Karthik calls her,

                                                    She suddenly came back to reality and realised that she was dreaming. She blinked her eyes four times and looked at Nandu. She spoke to him for 2 minutes. As she was leaving Nandu gave her a shake hand which made Deepthi feel like a crazy teenager.

At 11pm as Deepthi was studying her phone suddenly

Nandu: You were looking ravishing today!

                                                    And the conversation did not end after a thank you text from Deepthi. They came to a decision after talking that they could be good friends as the age gap did not matter to them but their mentality and their bond mattered to them the most. Deepthi felt so shy and happy that she spent the whole night thinking about what had happened to her when she met him.

                                                  Days just flew like that. They became close to each other. All they did was “Tamasha” in their life after the movie was released. He was the Don in her life and she was his Darling in his life. Just the fun all over the roads, parks, movie theatres and their favourite coffee shop. She used to be happy every second when she was with him. It was like heaven came down onto the Earth to make her feel special.

At the end of the year at Deepthi’s college annual function….

                                                   Everything was going fine. It was time for Deepthi to show her dance skills and make her college proud at the Annual Day function now. Shivering at the back stage she thought she wouldn't be able to do it. Wearing that Bharatanatyam costume and that make up she was stunning already, as she put on her anklets she remembered how much Nandu liked dancers. Just like any of those cinematic movie scenes she wore her anklets for him this time with confidence. While she performed she felt as if she was dancing in front of him and with this feeling that she made everyone fall in love with her and dance. After her performance though everyone appreciated she felt very happy that she danced for him. What a perfect year ending it was for her.

31st December 2017 10pm………

                                                 As everyone was awake at Depth's house, she told that she wanted to sleep and celebrate her New Year tomorrow morning. But then she spent her time alone and was waiting to spend time with her man. 

1st January 2018, 12am……….

After a small mind war with herself she finally sent a message to him.

Deepthi: Happy New Year!

Nandu: Thanks a lot Iyer! Happy New Year!

Deepthi: (Who kept on checking his last seen status since 2 hours on What’sApp) Were you sleeping till now?

Nandu: Yeah! Only because of the New Year party noise around my house I woke up now.

                                                  She knew that he wanted to spend some time and take some rest. So she did not reply to him back. All she wanted was a beautiful start with him. She walked out of her room and wished all her family members. They took pictures as the children were dancing all night whereas the other side her uncle and aunts were busy talking together. There was so much fun and music around. Deepthi made a wish that her upcoming year should be good and it should be filled with memories of him.

 As few months passed by………….                                                        

                                                  Deepthi was never like never before she was very active and happy. She had completed her Degree finally and she took up a new hobby “Writing”. She started writing different poems. Whenever she used to write a romantic poem she used to send it to Nandu. After reading those poems Nandu would ask, 

“For whom are you writing such poems? Who is that guy?" With shyness she could not say that she was writing all those poems for him.

But she replied, “What my heart says, the paper witnesses.”

He said, “That’s really good but I shall surely find out that one reason someday."

She kept calm and was trying to control her mind that she should not tell the truth to him.

    “The Goodbye To The Window”

                                                   Deepthi joined a PG college and was in search of a part time job for her satisfaction. Now it was time for Deepthi to leave her “Music and Dance College” and say goodbye to her window guy and everyone there in her college which was very hard for her. She had completed her courses and now it was the time. Karthik got a job in the same college as a Carnatic Vocal lecturer. Deepthi was very proud of her brother and was very happy for him.

During the last week of her college……

                                                She spent her time on the balcony looking at the window guy. After a week there will be a Diploma certificate in her hand. She remembers her window man’s advice who told her to join the Chennai Dance Studios as he wanted her to come up in life as an outstanding dancer. She didn’t know what life was expecting her to do.

                                                   As she was concentrating and dancing during her class hours she could see Nandu looking at her from his window. Her eyes were dying to see him so suddenly she looked at him after seeing that he turned towards his computer and acted as if he was very busy by doing some computer work. She wished to go to his house but she did not.

                                                On the second last day she was a bit sad that she could not find him. After few minutes she saw that he came back home with a tired face and slept on his bed. She kept all these things aside and concentrated on her exams.

On the last day at Deepthi’s college…………..

                                                  She came to the class and gave her exam. She gave her 200% best in every moment that she had now. From tomorrow her life was going to change, her heart was filled with happiness and sorrowness. For the last time this girl would see her window man and for the rest of her life all she would be carrying was these memories in her heart forever. The weather was a bit chilled and the sky was very beautiful with the Sun’s orange-yellow shades. She stood at the corridor to see him for the last time. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She started to remember all those sweet memories which she spent there looking at him. For the last time the dancer slowly opened her eyes to look at her love life and he was there looking at her. As everything was moving around her the moment freezed for them and from a distance, both of them were looking at each other with a special feeling. Time came and she turned around and left.

                                                Deepthi’s PG life was a bit interesting though she missed those beautiful evenings she moved on. She started to take life in a positive way. She got a part-time-job as a writer in the same company where Nandu was working. This company was tied up with the film industry and she wantedly applied for it. She started working hard, wrote many stories and impressed everyone in the office.

Few months passed by…………

                                                 There came a short film written by Nandu. Deepthi saw the short film and congratulated him. It was a short film where the heroine’s father tests her boyfriend whether he is eligible to marry his daughter or not. She was surprised when the hero took the heroine’s name as “Deepthi”. She felt as if Nandu had written these lines for her and the character “Deepthi” made her feel like that.

                                               There was only 2 floors difference from Deepthi’s office to Nandu’s office so like the way she used to see Nandu from her dance classes now she would him sometimes working at his office and in a few audio functions. He knew that Deepthi was doing some part-time job but he did not know where she used to work. Deepthi was happy that she was earning and studying.

                                              There were also a lot of functions, programs and competitions in the office. Life was like a roller coaster for Deepthi. Daytime college and evening time her part time job. She even got promotions too.

One fine day at a party in the office………….

                                                  Under those disco lights Deepthi was living her dream life! As many of her colleagues knew that she was a dancer they forced her to dance. She danced and enjoyed with her colleagues like never before after all she was living her life to the fullest. As she went back home she received many calls and offers to perform at various programs. She laughed like hell while driving the car that night she wished somewhere if Nandu had seen her dancing at the party. And yes Nandu saw her dancing that night! 

The very next day……………

                                                   A blue colour envelope was at Deepthi’s new desk she thought it was not hers so she kept it aside. During the break time Nandu came to Deepthi’s desk with a cup of coffee and surprised her by addressing her as,

“Miss. Deepthi Iyer nice to meet you. I am Nandu and yes welcome to our team. So this is where you are doing your part-time-job I see."

Deepthi was tensed a bit because she did not tell him that she was working here. In a heroic diction he said,

“Okay…nice to see you here. I am glad that we will be working together."

Looking into his eyes she said,

“Thank You Sir! Nice to meet you too.” 

                                                  And they both started laughing because it was very funny for them to talk in a formal way. They looked into each other’s eyes as everyone was around and just missed to spend time with each other.

                                                   They worked together, spent time with each other and went back home together sometimes. Their bond was really good, they never wanted to fight and understood each other very well. Without speaking or doing something they would understand each other’s feelings and requirements. They were enjoying their own comfort zone without thinking about their age gap. There wasn’t a day that they missed to talk to each other. Every moment was beautiful. 

One day………….

                                                 Nandu grabbed an opportunity to act in a movie as a hero. Deepthi was so happy for him. Nandu’s dreams were coming true apart from doing so many jobs now he finally got his dream offer to start his acting career as a hero. They both were so happy that Deepthi wished him and threw a small party for him for his new innings.

                               The Bond

12th July 2018 Deepthi’s birthday…………..

                                               After having a long shower Deepthi came into the hall to have her breakfast. Her mother told her that Nandu had called her up to wish her. Immediately she took her phone and went into her room. She called up Nandu.

Ringing…………

Nandu: (In a joyful tone) Happy Birthday Iyer!!!

Deepthi: Thank You So Much Nandu!!!

Nandu: Your mother told me that you were having a shower.

Deepthi: Yeah I just came out a few minutes ago.

Nandu: Stay like this and become like a Rowdy again!

Deepthi: Haha! That’s really sweet of you. Thank you for calling me and wishing me.

Nandu: My pleasure. Okay baby bye! Have a blast!

Deepthi: Thank You! Bye!

                                               Deepthi started to dance in her room with joy after this call. She was on cloud nine! Thinking how he knew or remembered her birthday.

                                              At the office there was a cake on her desk and from behind Nandu had come to surprise her. They cut the cake together as she wanted too. As he put the piece of cake in her mouth everyone behind them were hooting for some reason. He gave her a hug for the first time and wished her again, “Happy Birthday Baby”. It was a moment and she fell for him again.

                                              They watched a movie together and had dinner together. They went on a long drive listening to their favourite songs and all of a sudden it started to rain. What a memorable day it was for them.

Exactly two days before Nandu’s birthday……..

                                              This time they were in “Kanchipuram” shooting for his upcoming movie. Deepthi wanted to be with him so she too became a small part of the team. They travelled by bus at night for the shoots. After the pack-up they decided to stay back at Kanchipuram and travel. After the team left they stayed back in the same hotel and their rooms were opposite to each other’s.

On Nandu’s Birthday…………

                                              It was unbelievable for Deepthi that after so many years she was very close to her one-sided love. She wore a red saree with gold border and he wore a red Kurta with a white pancha as they planned to go to the Kanchi temple.

                                              It was a sunny day with a clean blue sky. After the pooja they walked down together talking to each other looking into each other’s eyes and holding each other’s hands. It was just like those old classy traditional movie scenes where the hero heroine who were together dressed up traditionally with a temple as the background behind. In the evening, they had dinner together as the music was being played lately they danced together. As they went back to their rooms he kissed on her forehead and said, “Thank You Love”.

                                             Deepthi did not know whether Nandu had feelings for her or not but spending time with each other was a wonderful feeling which they had. They felt as if they were made for each other because everything was perfect. Deepthi always wanted a guy who would understand her and Nandu wanted a girl like her who would keep him happy by understanding him. After 6 long years Deepthi understood that Nandu was the one!

31st December 2018…..

                                                Deepthi’s wish was fulfilled she had made lots of memories with her loved one. As she was filling up her personal diary she was all alone in her room and suddenly Nandu’s favourite song was being played “Kaathale Kaathale” from the film 96. She remembered that they had watched the movie twice together. She wished that the characters from 96 movie could meet and complete their love story together but it did not happen.

  The One Side Happiness

2019……..

                                               Nandu was very busy with his films and Deepthi was busy with her studies. Nandu put his soul into the film and he worked very hard. It’s been days that they haven’t met each other. She was in Chennai and he was travelling all over the country.

                                               Suddenly one day Deepthi received a call from Nandu’s mother. They started talking to each other and Nandu’s mother was pretty much impressed because of Deepthi’s dance videos which were on Facebook. Nandu’s mother said,

“There are very few girls like you who have done so many things so far. I am glad that I know you dear”.

                                               She invited Deepthi to her house. As Nandu was out of station she could not say no to her. She went to Nandu’s house the very next day.

At Nandu’s house……………..

                                                The dance girl who used to peep from a distance was finally at his house. For the first time she had come to Nandu’s house. His mother was so amazing that Deepthi felt very comfortable talking to her. They both had an amazing time together as if they were best friends since days. On Nandu’s mother’s request Deepthi sang a song meanwhile Nandu’s neighbour aunty had entered. When the neighbour asked,

“Who is this girl?”

Nandu’s mother said excitedly,

“She is Nandu’s Friend!”

                                               She introduced Deepthi as if she was a family member. Deepthi felt emotionally happy. But going to his house was like looking at the sky without the moon. Aunty had also mentioned about her marriage. She told Deepthi that it was an age gap love story. Listening to this somewhere Deepthi too wished that she could marry Nandu like the way his parents got married.

                                                Later when Deepthi went back home she sent Nandu a text telling him that she really felt good when she met his mother and spent some time together.

                                               Deepthi and Nandu haven’t spoken to each other for a while. Deepthi changed her routes and started to travel from his house route to reach her home. One afternoon, as Deepthi was driving a scooty with her friend she looked at his house and was searching for his bike. Meanwhile Nandu stood near a shop which was just beside his house and was looking at Deepthi. She left half way and realized that it was him! All of a sudden before she missed the moment she put force on the breaks and turned behind. He looked at her and smiled; she left her friend alone like that and handed over the scooty to ride.

                                               In a hurry she ran towards him wearing her helmet as if she was going to miss her train and met him. They shook hands with each other and felt like hugging but it was a public place so they spoke less. He felt very happy when she had met him after such a long time. That was just like the “Jab Nandu met Deepthi” moment.

                                              Opportunities were knocking their doors. All the impossibilities were turning into possibilities. Deepthi’s scripts were selected for short films. She started to write her own love story so that she could give it to Nandu. There was a time where she was hopeless and she started to spend more time with Nandu’s mother. His mother had told her that Nandu’s uncle had undergone 6 hours of “Bi-Pass” surgery a week ago and Nandu hasn’t slept for 2 days. He was also working and taking care of his uncle.

                                               Lately Deepthi understood that Nandu had a quality of not sharing his personal problems to anyone. He was ready to help others but when problems came to him he kept all his emotions with himself and would find a solution by himself. Deepthi tried to speak to him so that he would share his feelings but he spoke normally as if nothing happened. She understood that he had lots of patience to deal with problems and he would respect others.

                                              Nandu was funny, he was Deepthi’s happiness, he was strong, he was hard-working, he was caring, he was talented and he was everything for her. He used to understand others so deeply that it was enough for someone to fall in love with him. He was the perfect classy-modern guy example for this generation. 

                                               In every minute of Deepthi’s life she was in love with him. Six long years and everyday was a new feeling for her. She wanted to walk those seven steps of life with him in the presence of the five-natural elements and in presence of their families with their blessings. She wanted to live with him for the rest of her life and share his everything.

                                             Day dreaming became a habit for her now. She started to do modeling now. Doing the photo-shoots was like a dream for her. Though there were banners of her photo-shoots she used to send all her pictures to Nandu first. He was literally amazed and would keep on sending texts. They used to talk like lovers sometimes but Deepthi never uttered those three magical words.

After the struggle and hard work of Nandu the day arrived…

                                                 The audio launch of Nandu’s first movie as a debut hero! Finally after walking on a knife-edge the success was very near. Standing in front of everyone on the stage he gave an out-standing speech in his high husky base voice which actually made most of them fall in love with him. The girls in the audience were looking as if there was a prince-charm on the stage. Standing in the crowd all alone Deepthi was enjoying her one side love.

                                                 When Nandu took his seat after his speech many people had gathered near his sofa asking for selfies and autographs. As Deepthi was working that night in the audio function she wore her id-card and covered her face with a scarf to go near Nandu. She was quietly looking at the hero Nandu just like the other girls. While giving the autographs to his fans he suddenly looked into the eyes of a girl with the scarf. He recognised that it was Deepthi and smiled at her. She took his autograph and left him in his amazing partying night.

                                                 The day finally arrived in his life. His movie was released in so many theatres and there was a huge response. His parents were so proud and happy for him. It was the best day in his life because somehow after struggling so much he finally made it. He was getting so many offers that he had planned what to do in the next 5 years of his life. Meanwhile Deepthi had watched his movie twice on the release day and had enjoyed the fun around her for him.

The Coincidence

After 5 years………..

                                               Nandu was a successful actor and Deepthi was a successful model now. In these 5 years they were busy building their own lives. There was pain in Nandu’s struggle and there was pain in Deepthi’s one side love. Though Nandu had love stories he had a soft corner for Deepthi and for whatever Deepthi was today it was all because of Nandu’s motivation.

                                                 Reaching the heights in life Nandu was perfect at his multiple job skills. Business, politics and acting was all about his world now. He understood the struggle of what life is and so he also volunteered to help out many families and women especially. If there was any crime out in the city then he would visit and understand what had actually happened. Because people were so addicted to technology, cyber bullying used to happen most of the time in the cities. Standing fearlessly Nandu had helped a lot of girls who would tell their problems to him. He was more like a social worker.

                                                All of a sudden one day Deepthi got an opportunity to do a ramp walk with Nandu for a fundraising show. Nandu did not know that Deepthi was the main leading model that night. Deepthi was really excited that she would be framed with Nandu in a picture at a public event.

At the fund-raising show………………

                                                  Before the actor had come all the models were rehearsing in the afternoon. While rehearsing there was a guy who looked at Deepthi in a bad way, she did not observe but when he came near to talk to her she realized that something was wrong with him. 3 hours before the show Nandu had come for his one take rehearsal. After all the models had their opportunity and after Nandu’s solo ramp walk rehearsal the main leading model of the day had arrived at the back stage. Deepthi’s heart was beating fast and when Nandu looked to his left she was there standing looking into his eyes. He was pretty-amazed to see her. After the rehearsal they both had a small chat with each other Nandu wanted to spend some more time with her but he couldn’t because of the work.

                                                  When the show started Deepthi had dressed herself in a beautiful lavender colour lehenga and Nandu wore the exact matching colour suit. It was the time when they both had to walk together. When she stood in front of him he was lost looking in her eyes and was thinking, is that the same Deepthi who used to look like this 5 years ago when we met? Deepthi fell for him in the moment again as Nandu’s eyes had shown that he had some feelings for her.

                                                 The night was a memorable one as she walked with him in the public show. They were looking adorable when they were together. Deepthi was having her magical moment there in front of the crowd walking with her man. She felt complete and Nandu was so happy that he had an opportunity like this with her. It was a successful show and they both were lost in their own world.

                                                 After the show suddenly the guy who spoke to Deepthi in the afternoon had misbehaved with her after the dinner. Seeing this Nandu lost his control and punched him on his nose. Deepthi tried to stop Nandu and hugged him for protecting her in public. He did not hug her back but pushed her a little so that she would stand with him in a distance. She was very frightened for a moment and turned into a statue there. Nandu caught Deepthi’s hand and took her in his car. He dropped her to her house. When they reached her house he requested her not to hug her next time like that because he felt uncomfortable and told her not to worry much. The beautiful moment which Deepthi was having with Nandu was destroyed by seeing his anger. He was right in protecting her but she was lost there looking at his angry mood. She never saw him like this before moreover she was scared of him now.

                                                  For one year Deepthi took a break from life and travelled. All she wanted was not to go back like the same old one. She spent time with Nandu whenever he wanted as he was a busy person. Nandu was the same and he did not change. She realized that they both were growing together happily but now it was almost time for him to get married as his life was settled now. With a fear that she would lose him forever she ran away from the house and was travelling.

The Anonymous

                                                 After one year when Deepthi came back home to attend Karthik’s marriage her parents had searched for a guy for her. Her heart broke into pieces as she could not do anything. Karthik had planned a trip with all his friends along with 40 other friends even Nandu and Deepthi were included in the list.

The Goa Trip…………………

                                                  The trip was about five days. There were celebrations and parties all the time in the resort. It was like a reunion. Karthik was enjoying his pre-bachelor’s party. He just wanted everyone to have a memorable trip like this.

                                                Nandu and Deepthi were together most of the time. They almost had their breakfast, lunch and dinner together. For the first two days in the mid night they both would run out of the resort and would go out for a long drive to enjoy. Though Nandu was showing so much of love towards her, Deepthi was still confused whether it was love or friendship. They both were comfortable the way they were so Deepthi did not want to spoil this bond and was calm.

                                                 For the first three days it was okay but when she received a call from home the next day she was sad again because she won’t be with the one she wanted. She did not lose hope because she did not confess her love yet to Nandu. She did not sleep that night and kept on weeping her heart out. 

In Nandu’s room…………….

He kept on calling Deepthi but then he thought she slept.

At 2 am, 3rd night of the trip, Nandu's phone was ringing………

Nandu: Hello.

Anonymous: (A girl’s voice) Nandu?

Nandu: Yes…. May I know who this is?

Anonymous: Nandu I just can’t tell you who I am but you know me very well.

Nandu: Why can’t you tell me?

Anonymous: It’s just because of the situations in life. Could you please talk to me for some time? Are you free?

Nandu: Yes… you can….

Anonymous: Nandu it’s been years that I haven’t told you one thing. I am sorry for hiding this within myself. I felt that was not the moment but today when I see my life is going out of my hands I just want to tell you that “I love you very much”. I don’t know if I get another moment to tell you this, I don’t even know if I will be in your life or not and I don’t even know if I will be alive the next moment too. I just don’t want to regret my life if I don’t say it. It's been years and years and in every moment of my life from the day we met till now it’s you! It’s all you in these past few years and I have just hoped if it could be you for the rest of my life. I just can’t think of anyone else except you Nandu.

Nandu: (In a shocked tone he did not know what to say) Hello! Hello! Hello! Please tell me who are you…

Anonymous: I am just scared if I tell you that’s me. I am scared to lose you and our friendship.

Nandu: Please tell me if there are any consequences we shall sort it out please don’t put me in stress and leave.

Anonymous: I shall always love you let me be your shadow in the day and the cool breeze when it’s night. It was you and it will be you now and forever. Just in case if you feel lonely just remember that this anonymous mad girl who loves you like hell! When you remember me just take this mad girl as a reason and give me a chance to be the reason for your smile.

Nandu: Please tell me who you are….. Please dear……!!! Nothing is going to happen please let me know the real you!

Anonymous: This is really hard for me. Lots of love and lots of happiness in your life. Love, yours forever anonymous. I love you lots Mr. Left Hand Batsman. Bye.

Nandu: Hello helloooo please! 

                                            (The conversation ends)

                                                   For 2 long hours Nandu kept on thinking about his anonymous love girl. He never revealed that he was a left hand batsman after he stopped playing cricket at a very young age. With this one hint he was trying to recollect who it was. The way that girl spoke stole his heart and wanted to know about her.  

Day four, 4am………….

                                                   Nandu thought it might be Deepthi because only a few members have his private number. He knocked Deepthi’s door, she thought it might be room service so she opened the door. Deepthi was in a sleepy mood when she saw Nandu and asked him to come in. Deepthi jumped on the bed with her blanket and slept again. Seeing her sleepy moody behaviour he laughed. He slept beside. He told her about the anonymous girl thing. As they both looked into each other’s eyes. 

Nandu and asked, “Was it you Deepthi?”

Deepthi said in a low voice, “Why would it be me Nandu? Tell me? I was sleeping the whole night.”

Nandu observed her red eyes, “Please tell me if that was you.”

Deepthi got angry, “Why would I be your anonymous girl Nandu? I have lots to do.”

Nandu looked into her eyes in a pleasing manner and asked again,

“Okay Deepthi but if that was you tell me.”

Deepthi saw Nandu very angrily and went out of her room. Nandu thought it might not be Deepthi and he too left the room. 

                                                  Nandu was upset that the anonymous girl had left him in the middle of the story. Deepthi did not come out to enjoy with others today. This time when Nandu went out he had received lots of messages from his anonymous girl. He kept on asking her "Who Are You?" and she kept on replying as "Your Secret Love". And all of a sudden to cross check Nandu sent Deepthi a message on What’sApp. She received the message but then she did not see. He was very confused and wished if it was Deepthi. He called the anonymous girl and asked,

“Is this a prank?”

The anonymous girl replied with a broken heart, “Do you really think my love is a prank now?”

He said, “Sorry! Please don’t think like that. Please tell me lady I just can’t take this.”

She said, “When we turn 40 someday I shall tell you who I was”. And she cut the call.

                                               She almost mentioned all the hints which Deepthi knew and no one else. With the help of his friend he tried to track that number. When they almost tracked the number the process failed because the SIM got deactivated. Nandu tried to call Deepthi and her phone was off too. Nandu contacted his other friend and asked him to help to track this number.

                                                 When Nandu came back to the resort with his friends Deepthi was enjoying with others in the swimming pool. He behaved normally as if nothing happened. When they sat together for dinner he told about his anonymous girl again. Deepthi looked awkwardly and said,

“Wish that was me Nandu, Wish I had a chance like this now would you please stop talking about her and have your dinner?”

Nandu asked in a polite way,

“Deepthi I felt like sharing this with you. If that’s not you then it’s okay.”

Deepthi got angry again and said,

“Please Nandu let’s forget who she was and enjoy our time. Why are you doing this? I just want to grow older with you please.”

Nandu said, “Okay!”

Day five which means on the last day of the trip…………..

                                                  Deepthi woke up as if she was living the last day of her life with Nandu. She just wanted to live her day to the fullest with him. The other side Nandu did not receive any call from his anonymous girl and was stressed but not to make Deepthi angry he did not say anything.

                                                 Karthik’s trip was successful; he had finally made memories with all of them! The whole day everyone was laughing and talking continuously as if they were going on a picnic. Enjoying the day to the fullest, everyone had gone crazy! They all enjoyed the sunset together in silence at a beach.

                                                As Nandu’s phone was ringing Deepthi caught his hand and looked at him in a requesting way asking him not to go. He switched off his phone and came near to Deepthi. They hugged and did not leave each other for some time. It was the most heart touching moment in their life while they saw the sunset together. Deepthi felt the moment and looked at him. Nandu asked,

“What baby?”

Deepthi thought this was the same 96 movie scene which she was feeling now with him. She took a deep breath and said,

“This might be our last trip.”

Nandu gave so many expressions and made her laugh. He pulled her cheeks and said,

“Someone was telling me that they wanted to grow older with me. Now what happened? Did we become old?”

Deepthi acted as if she was an old lady and said,

“Ohhh Dear!! I just want to die for you today and come onto this Earth tomorrow to see you again.”

Nandu also added some more drama with her. He saw her with a sad expression and said,

“Yes I think we have grown very old now.”

And they laughed! Saying all those filmy lines as if they were the hero and heroine of the film they enjoyed the whole night in the bus with others. Deepthi just felt as if she had successfully completed her one-side love story. 

The Shade

                                                    After the trip when Deepthi returned back home she saw the guy who was waiting for her in the living room. His name was “Vikram” and he was the one who was ready to share his future with her. She hated this when her parents did not tell her anything and had fixed her marriage. Nandu kept on tracking his anonymous girl.

                                                   After two days the anonymous girl’s SIM got activated and Nandu received a call from her. She was crying and talking to him. Nandu was very worried. After few conversations he said,

“Why are you punishing yourself and me so much? Why can’t you tell me that’s you and close this?”

In a low tone she said,

“It’s just because we may not be together after this. That’s why”

He said,

“Okay just describe yourself and tell me how do you know me?”

She said,

“I have long fingers which you have already touched.”

He was shocked and asked,

“What did you just say??”

                                                   And she cut the call. Nandu was stressed now as if he was leaving one incomplete chapter in his life. He was angry and at the same time he was sad. Nandu asked his friend to track her number as soon as possible.

At Kathik’s Wedding…………

                                                 Deepthi was stunning in her royal blue saree with golden border and coincidentally Nandu was also wearing a royal blue colour Kurta. Deepthi attended the wedding with Vikram, she was ignoring him all the time and was enjoying the wedding night of her brother’s. When Nandu and Deepthi met she introduced Vikram to him. She forgot the moments with Nandu and acted as if she was going to be with Vikram forever. Somehow she made Vikram leave the wedding and enjoyed with her friends freely.

                                                  Deepthi kept on talking to Nandu for some time in the garden area. His two bodyguards were with him. He was an actor after all a celebrity. While talking to Deepthi, Nandu’s phone just beeped with a message. He received the details of the anonymous girl. As Deepthi was beside him he immediately called the anonymous girl.

*Deepthi’s phone rang*

                                                  The anonymous girl was none other than Deepthi and Nandu knew this. Suddenly the moments changed. She was frightened when Nandu saw her phone ringing. He said,

“See I told you I am not someone who leaves such things just like that.”

She turned around and was about to leave then he caught her hand. She asked him to leave her but then Nandu did not. He asked,

“Deepthi please tell me why are you doing this?”

Deepthi could not make an eye contact to him and said,

 “See I told you there will be consequences which we can’t solve. Yes Nandu I loved you so much so much that I just made my life because of you. You might be my inspiration but love happens unknowingly. I did not want to lose hope so at least for my satisfaction sake I wanted to express my love to you.”

Nandu asked curiously,

“Then why didn’t you tell me till now? Why this anonymous girl thing? Why tell me why?”

Deepthi started to cry and said, 

“It’s just because maybe we don’t have our destiny together Nandu….. It’s just us as friends because you just can’t love me. It’s the same age gapped love which your mother had towards your father. They loved each other and we did not. It's just the one side in our case.” 

                                                  Nandu was speechless and as Deepthi left it began to rain. She took her car and went back to her home. Both of them broke their stories and hearts together. While he was in the garden area around so many people who were happy around him he just could not stop his tears and luckily it was raining so he covered his situation it seemed he wasn’t crying. As she was driving the car she remembered those nights which she spent crying for him and made herself stronger.

                                                 Both of them were remembering the moments when they were together. They filled each other’s soul. 

  The Matching

                                                 Deepthi tried to move on but she couldn’t. Deepthi stole Nandu’s heart. He kept on thinking should he talk to her or shouldn’t he. When the age gap never mattered to them in their friendship then he felt why he was stopping himself when it was all about love. He met his dad after a long time and asked,

“What made you fall in love with mom?”

His father laughed and replied,

“Why did you fall in love or what?”

Nandu looked seriously and said,

“May be”

His father got a doubt and asked,

“Son, did you just say maybe?”

Nandu said,

“Yes. It’s because we too have the age gap just like you both have.”

His father could not tell him much and advised,

“Nandu, if you think she is the one then go. Don’t let her wait like the way I made your mother wait for a long time. It’s okay if you want to fight for her because that day if your mother and I did not fight for ourselves then you wouldn’t have been here today.”

                                                 Nandu looked at his father and left the house. He took his car and went to Deepthi’s house. He explained to Deepthi's parents that they both could not live without each other. He told them that he wanted to get married to Deepthi. Her parents accepted without any inconvenience. Nandu got a doubt and asked his father,

“Uncle you are Tamilians and are you sure about making this decision with a Telugu guy like me?”

Deepthi’s father gave Nandu a letter and said,

“Yes Nandu. I should have realized it before she left the house yesterday night. I thought she was going on a trip but I did not realize that she left the house forever. I should have understood her. Go now you will go and get my daughter back.”

Nandu was frightened and he started to read Deepthi’s letter..........

Dear Appa,

                                              I am sorry that I am leaving this house please don’t search for me. I will be happily living alone in my life. I am sorry I can’t marry anyone because there is a man in my life. Yes Appa, I have given my heart and soul to that guy. I don’t know if I am in his life or not but I just can’t live with another man. I am scared because he found out that I loved him unconditionally. Only for his better life I am going away from my life and family. I just can’t live like this because it’s too suffocating for me.

                                             Wish I shouldn’t have loved or expressed my feelings to him but love is also nature. It happens unknowingly. I want to live my own life in his memories and spread happiness to others.

                                             I am going far away where I expressed my love to him for the first time. Your daughter is going to start a new life Appa because I don’t think so he would come back searching for me. Please forgive me. I will miss you all.

Before Nandu left the house Deepthi’s father said,

“Bring her back like an Iyer. I shall start the arrangements of your Kalyanam”

Nandu went back to his house and packed his back. He looked at his mother and said,

“I don’t have time to explain but I shall bring happiness when I come back.”

                                                 He took his car and left. With this one hint of “I am going far away where I expressed my love to him for the first time” He was happily travelling there. Listening to their favourite songs he was remembering the moments that he had spent with her. He actually realized that Deepthi was too crazy about leaving the hints for him, it was just like solving a mystery piece for him. After all he was in love with his mystery girl then life would obviously be a mysterious one.

                                                  Nandu’s and Deepthi’s parents accepted their love and fixed a good date for them to get married. Before Nandu was about to bring his love lady, their parents started a few arrangements.

                                                Like father, like son. Deepthi’s hope for her love just like Nandu’s parents was about to happen. The age gapped love story was about to start their new innings. Without any fights and without any problems they were going to be just like the way Nandu’s parents were. The age gap love then and the age gap love today was about to repeat again. Everything was just matching. 

The New Innings

                                                Nandu reached the resort in Goa where Deepthi expressed her love for the first time as an anonymous girl. When he reached the resort and asked the details about Deepthi they had told her that she left the resort 4 hours ago. He kept on searching for her in all the houses which were near to the resort. He could not find her. He went to the beach where they both spoke as if they lived their whole lives together.

                                                 Enjoying the sunset there was his anonymous girl. He looked at her for a few minutes and admired her. He came from behind and closed Deepthi’s eyes. Deepthi got scared and hit him with her elbow from behind and turned around. 

Nandu shouted with pain said,

“Ahh! Deepthi!! It’s me!!”

Deepthi was shocked and said,

“Nandu!! What are you doing here! I am really sorry Nandu.”

Nandu looked into Deepthi’s eyes and said,

“Aye it did not hurt me much. I knew you would be here.”

They came closer to each other as Deepthi said,

“How did you find me here?”

Laughing at her he said,

“You wanted to be my shadow right? Practically wherever the body is, the shadow also should follow then why is the case reversed with us? And why aren’t you talking too much today?’’

Deepthi looked seriously at him.

Nandu said,

“Okay Okay! Though you speak too much it is okay because cuteness suits you my baby.”

Holding her hands in the beach he proposed her by saying,

“Today I have come to take my shadow with me for the rest of my life. Can I take you back?”

There were tears in Deepthi's eyes. She could not utter any single word from her mouth as Nandu said those three magical words,

“I love you”

“Will you marry me?”

It was Deepthi’s soul-stirring moment and she said,

“Yes!”

Nandu looked at her surprisingly and asked, “YESS??!!!”

She said,

“Whatever happens, I won't leave you my man, I swear, I swear on the Sun and the Moon.

YES!! YES!!! YES!!!!”

                                                 They both shouted as if they were on top of the world saying “YES! YES! YES!!’’ and fell down on the beach with madness. They spent some time together.

                                                 Deepthi who came to Goa to start a new life was finally starting a new life. Deepthi was happy that her story had not ended like the movie 96. At least she had hope and expressed her love. Nandu who thought the girl who wasn’t in the list was finally the only one in the list.

                                                They both returned to Deepthi’s house as Nandu had promised Deepthi’s father that he would bring his daughter. Deepthi was scared but Nandu explained what had happened. When they reached the house they saw that the house was decorated and Nandu’s parents were also there. Deepthi’s father looked at her and said,

“It’s the time to get married my dear. I found the right one this time for you.”

Deepthi was confused again and was tensed. This time his father laughed and said, 

“Don’t worry the one who is standing behind you is the right one for you my dear.” 

                                                 Deepthi looked behind and it was Nandu looking at her. She told him that she won't be giving so much stress. She told him that she would give a head massage daily. The family members welcomed the couple grandly into the house.

                                                 After a few days with love and drama, with family and friends they both finally got married. Nandu found his dancer and Deepthi found her hero. The ones, who met coincidentally fell in love unknowingly and were finally together. Not only seeing “The Window Man” now she got married to her “Only Man”. Nandu who thought that they “weren’t” worthy for each other “were the only” for each other.

Last But Not Least

                                                   Deepthi met Nandu and they had shared the craziest bond ever. Everyday was a beautiful feeling for Deepthi. The one side lover who enjoyed all the happiness in her life had finally opened up and expressed her feelings anonymously but at last the hero caught her. He not only caught the real her at that moment but he caught her hand forever. The Don and Mona Darling did so much of Tamasha that they had trapped themselves in the beautiful cage of love.

                                                   Nandu was an amazing person; he was a blessing in Deepthi’s life. Not only writing a love story on Nandu she finally lived the story in her real life. He was a perfect example of a son, friend, lover and the most amazing part was he was a great human being. Deepthi gave her heart and soul to him and so he did not let her go away from her. Meeting Nandu was the turning point in life for Deepthi. It took time for her to understand her love towards him. Though he had other girlfriends, Deepthi was his only girl among his friends.

                                                    It took days and days, months and months, years and years for each other to realize themselves. They thought they would fall apart but destiny brought them together at the end. 

                                                   Believe and hope if you think he/she is the one then destiny will help you. Sometimes one side love stories stay silent and sometimes they speak if it is the one. Life is like a cinema where you are the main lead. To live is to love and to love is to live with the one till the last breath on this Earth. We can build our career, we can earn money whenever we want but if the time and the person leaves then that time and that chance may not come for us. Life may or may not give chances but love shall always be there for him/her now and forever in our hearts. It’s difficult to explain what our heart wants but if the paper wants to witness or if the voice wants to speak then do it. It is the most beautiful feeling ever.
