A mysterious word of four letters carrying a billion emotions within its small universe of warmth and fondness. in this world of androids and hover board people still can't define what's love. affection and caring ? physical intimacy ? mutual attraction ? well i believe this tiny word holds much more than just few adjectives. i know i am too young to define the meaning of love to the world, and it will be unfair too as never have i ever been in a relationship or that baby shona stuff you know. but i am pretty sure love is a very powerful word.
i was coming back home from school this afternoon, thinking that whether i'll ever find the one with whom i'll just feel that strong force of attraction and will easily make a bond. ( science student, haha ) almost all my friends have had many relationships, they keep on posting something or the other about their ex, or present. and whats that word, ya.. bae! infinite pictures of their bf/gf and caption remains the same "my bae, best bae". and trust me, within a year my bae turns into bitch/loser.
is this love? do you really think so. if you call this love, then its like we are insulting this beautiful word. i think we all have a misconception about love. attraction, affection are not synonyms of love. they are completely separate things. or i should say the things which are default in the program of love. i think love is like that rain in the drought, like the feeling in the early morning, or like the mist in the winters, like the sound of the oceans, like the most satisfying thing on this planet. the strongest feeling, the word that lies oceans of meanings.
you are happy where you are, and all of a sudden there is a person with whom you just feel happier. life isn't the same, you start noticing each and every little thing. and happiness reach another level when these feelings come out to be mutual. not much texting, but more chit chatting. not much phone calls, but more sensible talks. not sharing each and every thing on social media whether about an argument or small fight, and rather just enjoying the company of each other.
i don't think with these thoughts i'll ever be able to find the one. but i am sure, destiny beholds many secrets. let's just flow with it and let it surprise us with what it has for us. let's just sit back and wait for the one to enter in our lives and just turn it upside down.
