Loving the new "ME"

"I cant see you struggling like this.... why cant you just come back? you have everything here. We have struggled so much. Why do you want to suffer? " 

These were the words of my mom when I said her that I have applied in different companies and waiting for their call.

"I have worked my entire life. I wanted my kids to enjoy. But when I see you I feel all these days , what all I have done is n vain." I could sense the tension in her tone.

"I always wanted you to have a peaceful life. I wanted you to get married to a guy who earns so much so that there is no need for you to work. why cant you get married to the Software guy I searched for you last month? He earns good enough."

The last statements on my marriage broke my silence and I decided to answer.

"Mom, Its ok !! I'm fine. I don't know the reason why you are so worried. I'm fine with the way things are. In fact I am happy that I am facing the real world. All these days Dad and U protected me and I don't know any difficulties. I saw people facing difficulties for earning money, securing a job accepting lows in life etc  just in movies or daily soaps. And I used to think things changes easily. Now I understood that it takes time for things to settle down. "

"But think once..I want you to settle down and have a peaceful life" my mom interrupted.

"I want to work since I like to work.I want to become independent. what if it takes time? I will work now, struggle and my rest of life would be easy for me. Things will be fine and I feel time sets things right. I'm enjoying this phase of life too. I am learning a lot, loving myself for seeing the new 'ME'. I don't want to regret later for not even trying once just because I was scared facing the situation. And marriage isn't the only option for a girl to settle down. Trust me... don't take decisions in a rush. Let things go with the flow."

That phone call made the tensed and worried mother understood that her daughter is no more a little girl , but a Strong headed and determined women who thinks wise and can act matured.
