Moms: the underrated heroes!

By reading the title and the quote, you all must have guessed what this article pertains to. I know a lot has been written about mothers and how amazing humans they ought to be, but this one is special cause it's my perspective. 

I am pretty sure with these last hefty months of being home, you all must have noticed how difficult it is to maintain a home! It's not just logging in and submitting your work and waiting for the weekend. It's about waking up before everyone and doing all the chores whole-heartedly without even expecting anyone's help. Yup, that's what moms do. I can tell you it's not a child's play in maintaining a house along with selflessly loving your kids and caring about them. Moms don't get paid, they don't have weekends to take off or they won't even try resting for a while without getting into a series of household chores. And that's crazy for a human to be this active and selfless! only moms are wired this way. No one gets training or a course for doing so, because my mom always says, "Even you'll do it when the time comes" and that's sweet.

She won't rest until everything is done with precise care and this is a routine: an endless one. After being here for a while, observing her every day has made me realize how tough a mother's job is- and the job which she has been doing for a very long time! I am sure even you guys feel the same. I can go on and on talking about my mother, but oops it's time to do the afternoon dishes! 

All I am saying is just be thankful for having a superhero in your life, who will never give up on you and will be there for you always- even though might nag you about doing the chores. And this is for everyone, not just the daughters or the sons, but the fathers and everyone who make a house a home. Do your bit, and trust me your mother won't stop bragging about how fast you have grown up and how she misses the kid in you. 

To all the mothers out there and especially my mother- this one is for you! 

Life doesn't come with a manual but it comes with a mother.
