The Dilemma !

Info

It's always complicated, isn't it ? To be or not be in love ? to ask someone out or keep waiting forever ? to post a selfie? to risk it and pursue your passion ? These questions can go on forever, after all we are the millennials aren't we ?

I remember when i was a kid i would always dream about how lucky  the adults are - living a life of their own choice. Little did i knew that the grass is always greener on the other side.

But here we are, all trying to do something just to look like they are mastering the art of adulting. It's not easy at all, we all have almost completed our educations and are getting accustomed to the monotonous wheel of life. Some are enjoying while some are really waiting for yet another weekend to arrive. But we are living the life, the life where we are paving the roads to our retirement ironically on the same roads where we haven't even enjoyed our youth. It's like we are looking for the perfect filter for our picture!

It's always been a race ; but nowadays it's more than that, its like we aren't content with our achievements. We even measure the worthiness of a person on how he likes to flaunt about us on the internet. Stupid right ? but unfortunately that's the truth. Maybe its our thing, we are the happiest sad fellows who enjoy the sufferings of being the millenials of this century. Again its not easy being like this but maybe it will wash off when the responsibilities and the vices of the world will eventually make us understand that there's more to life than just posting about it; when the only happiness we will derive is from planting a tree or helping the ones who are suffering without the agenda of making it viral.

I feel it has always been this simple - "Live and let live" because our parents or grandparents are/were sturdy about how happy they lived their lives.

Lastly, in my experience, i feel that life is all about the little things that you barely even notice- like a warm cup of coffee on a rainy day, or that creamiest bite of cake you had on your birthday, or the happiness you get when see your pet after a long day, the moon shining brighter than usual or a favorite song on the radio, first bite of your mom's food... Life is all about staying happy with what you've got, that's what makes it worth living.

Loved it. I was picturing myself at every phase, as a kid, as a teen, as a adult and way to our retirement. So true. ❤️
