My friend, the moon.
The one who sees me cry and be devastated.
The one who accomplanies me in the cold dark nights.
The one who helps me through another painful night.
The one who lives through the dark with me.
Shinning down on me like a guiding light, a friend.
He cannot speak to me, but I know he listens.
To my cries and to my pain.
He watches and just as he disappears, my sadness is carried away.
He makes my pain fade away, he takes it with him wand by the time the hurt comes back, he's always there to watch, to care.
Because he was also lonely, and sad.
And I guess he liked watching other people be sadder than him in the cold, dark nights.
The moon, forever with me.
The moon, my only friend who understands.
