''Hello Shazeem? Can we meet in the cafe today? I want to talk to you." Said Rida.

"Okay. But what is the matter? Is everything alright?" I asked having no clue that i will not be alright in an hour or so.

"Yeah... just meet me there." She said and hung up.

I reached the cafe and ordered two coffees.
Rida came just in time. She was wearing a black BTS hoodie and denim shorts and looking pretty.

She had cut her long black hair.

" Rida? What the hell did you do to your hair?" I asked.

"I cut it off..what's the matter? I like it this way."
I had a feeling that she was changing a lot these days.

"Shazeem, i dont have a lot of time to talk, but i'm here to tell you that, we have to stop seeing each other."
I felt as if 100 people are stabbing me in all direction.

"What? Why? Did anyone say something?"i asked.

"No, its just that i dont want you anymore." She said.

Girl you are kidding me...

"Shazeem, i moving to France this year, so we wont be able to meet each other anymore and i dont feel good with you now-a-days . So its time we choose our own paths...." she said taking a sip of the coffee. There wasn't a hint of pain or sadness on her face.
I was so angry, i couldn't control myself. I got up, pushed the table, spilling all the coffee and breaking the crockeries set on the table.

Rida screamed.

"Girl, do you have any idea how much you mean to me? And all of a sudden you do this  to me and there is no hint of sadness or shame in you. What did i do to you? Dont you have anything called mercy in you?" I was shouting at her. All the people in the cafe were standing and had a suprising look on their face.

I walked out of the cafe after paying the bill and fine for breaking all those things.

I didn't see Rida after that. I didn't even make an effort to find about her.

She was the first one i loved so deeply and she will remain the last one. I will not commit that mistake again.

People will say" Shazeem has no guts" but hearing nonsense comments is much better than having someone who will break your heart.

One reason why i took this decision is that now, i have found true love. Its my mom. She showed me what true love is. When Rida left me, i was mentally hurt. There wasn't  a single friend who showed up. People lost faith and interest in me.

That is when my Mom came in. She struggled to help me find myself again.she spoke to me with kind and loving words when Rida and others enjoyed their life.

I am trying to forget her.

And the memories.

Good bye Rida.
