I stared at that girl for a while -
that girl who always smile.
I looked into her eyes,
through the walls -
walls she built up thick and high,
I looked into her soul.
Inside those walls,
she looked so small, so fragile,
even more so when she smiles.
She'd been so tough, and strong;
But not enough, and not for long.
She'd been broken, not yet mending;
She had fallen, and still falling.
Into emptiness, she had fell,
to darkness, into hell.
She felt dark inside, she felt hollow.
She currently hide, full of sorrow.
I realized how lost she is,
and i felt sad for her...
I felt sad for myself.
because when my vision cleared.
into my own eyes, I stared.
How could I be like this?
I thought to myself.
Then I smiled the best smile I could muster,
and turn my back on the mirror,
heading for the door,
leaving my sorry self to herself.
Just being silent and keeping it all inside, until it fills you up and seeps out as muffled screams.
