God's goodness and graciousness are something that we humans cannot fully decipher. Living in such an imperfect world, we have never witnessed with our own eyes the true image of pure righteousness which only God has. His kindness can never be measured using our human standard of kindness. Only He has the kind of goodness that even when we think He's being unfair, His ways remain to be the result of His perfect character.
Due to this, as we humans continue to rely on our humanly reasoning, we may frequently find it hard to completely put our trust in Him. We may feel that He doesn't answer our prayers, or that He never even listens to us. However, we have to remind ourselves that God, our almighty Heavenly Father, is not similar to a genie who grants wishes to serve our purpose. We are not the ones being served; we are the ones who should be in His service. But because He loves us, He always listens to our pleas. Even before we utter what we need, He already knows about it. Even before we realize what we're lacking, He already knows how to supply it. Therefore, it is wrong to think that our loving Father doesn't listen to us. The reality is just that sometimes, His answers to our prayers are different from what we could imagine. God does everything in His perfect time-and only He knows when, for unlike us, He is not confined by the limits of time. While our understanding is limited, our God is limitless, for He exists in eternity and knows everything-even those that are beyond the capacity of our minds. Having all of these said, we should trust Him with all our hearts for He alone is capable of taking care of us. We may not be in any position to be able to understand His ways, but we should rest assured that God does everything for the best purpose. He knows what He is doing. We must be at peace with any circumstance, knowing that all decisions are in His hands, and that God Himself is always in control.
If we could only learn to trust His ways with no reservations, then there would be no way for us to get anxious or worried about anything that life puts us through. Let us live life joyfully as we serve Him, at comfort with the knowledge that He has us under His mighty protection.
Our God is good.
