I would rather put a thousand
beaming face in a crowd who wouldn't mind asking
A silly, happy, giggly one,
Not a single soul would find it intriguing.
I would rather start picking up the scattered pieces
Of my wasted time and effort
Would rather start writing poems and phrases
Of this feelings I need to comfort.
I would rather not ask you again
If you're still thinking of me
My ego's crushed and couldn't do more bargain
To some silly old what could be.
I would rather not wait nor hope
Coz some things are not meant to be
Let's just leave and try to cope
With the unfinished story of you and me.
