OUR EYES ARE SET

As the days pass by like hurried feet treading on murky ground 
And silhouettes of the future seem to surface in midair
Our vision is as certain, as sure as every morning glow
For we live not for the world, and we are but sojourners

Our eyes are set on what lies ahead of all these struggles 
We keep holding on to what is in store for us
The promise of eternal life, timeless glorious living
This keeps us steadfastly rock anchored to our calling

And keeps us unmindful of all these pains and sufferings
For the day comes and intrudes like a burglar at night From the easy to other corners of the world
His call of salvation rings loudly and clearly

Against heartless men's aimless goals and worthless dreams
To those who will heed, the promise is given
By the weak, by the lame, by the poor or less fortunate
Now, here we are, in this pinnacle, brethren

We will never mind the stumbling blocks laid in out track
We did and will triumphantly hurdle the thermal lair
And our entry to the next level is most certainly assured
For our citizenship is in land of no pains, no sadness, no struggles but it was all happiness our true home
