Pain sits in white t shirt and sings in a different language to impress your inner demons
He keeps a cigaratte between his teeth and lights you up like a cracker
He keeps photographs stuck in his room which reminds him of lives he captured in his camera to live.
His souvenirs include a deer's horns and skull
And stories that you would love.
Pain never fails to surprise you with trivias
So you call him your encyclopedia.
Pain talks about animals and tells you about his new projects, about his parents and siblings and what happened to him when he was 8 and what not as if it wants to share every inch of his heart with you.
And you eat every word he says.
He doesn't mind your ranting
Pain lets you play Julia Michaels in his car.
And suggests his own songs to you.
Pain doesn't mind clasping your sweaty hands with his , on finding that the crowd suffocates and tells you ' everything will be right , we're almost out of it"
And doesn't leave it till you feel better.
Pain is a hopeless romantic who can agree to dance with you even in the refrigerator light to not disturb other people in the flat but would paint his tongue with "i don't know how to love"
Pain doesn't drive rash when you sit next to him and tells you to rate his driving .
Pain has dreams which makes sense to you but you still tell him he's crazy because he's driving you in and you don't want him to know that.
Pain gently fondles you and looks out for you, brushing your hair aside from your face to give you a good night's sleep.
Pain looks at you in the morning, when you wake up away from his embrace, all worried and tries to figure out how to make you feel good.
He shushes out your worries and wraps you up in cuddles ,under a blanket.
And chuckles at the fact that you don't want to let that moment pass.
Pain doesn't say anything ,nothing ,not even that he likes you
For it would be a lie.
Pain is a broken karma sign, it doesn't come around .
Pain is forced to be forgotten
When deep down you love it.
Pain is that boy your mother warned about
Which you forgot
Because you thought your heart won't beat for him.
But somehow it does
With extra beats
When you realise about it.
Pain freezes his eyes into yours, forgetting there were other people in the bustling room.
And you know that he wants to kiss you
But controls himself
And goes back to dancing.
He is as confused as you.
Pain is the light in the temple that comes in form of offering
It is supposed to bring blessings.
It's the best you've ever had
And the worst too.
Pain gives you your best heartbreak poem that you still haven't written.
Or You might never dare write it.
The truth is that pain could be all that good boy for others
But not for you
And that's sad.
