His eyes glimmered upon contact with the komorebi
Eyes directly at me
He smiled
Folding papers made for origami
He gave me paper roses under the cherry tree
My paper heart fluttered
And with trembling lips I uttered
My voice was too soft that I hardly heard myself
But he heard my heart and understood it
The following pages of my life became filled with color
Each day was a rainbow in clear blue skies
Till tears filled my eyes
He took away the color
He ripped my paper heart
And flew away on his origami airplane
I burned the paper roses and
Pieced back together my ripped up paper heart
And as the last teardrop fell I made a fresh new start
