Parents : Our First Love!

Having surrounded by comfort and luxurious life. We often neglect the fact that do we really deserve it? Many teenagers, take these for granted. And upon being asked the same question, they put forth another one; Isn't that their responsibility?

NO!

It's not their responsibility to provide you a care free. Instead, Luxury is fruit of success, which us awarded for one's hardwork. And parents offer us these to us, from their happiness and THEIR hardwork. Importantly, their intentions are not to encourage you to lead a care free life, but to let you taste it and earn it for yourself.

There are few questions which we should often ask ourselves, while we savour those.

How many of you really value the luxuries being offered by your parents, while they sacrifice their?

How often do you thank them for whatever you are right now?

And when is the last time you made them happy?

Importantly, Do we deserve it?

Aren't these questions we should ask ourselves? Shouldn't we know and acknowledge the sacrifices they make just to keep us happy?

Well, I wasn't enlightened either. But, as my blog is based upon my experiences. I will share one of them.

It was the period when the Movie : Avengers Infinity War was around the hype. We three friends, V (Girl) T (boy) and me, being Marvel Fans were all geared up for it.

Here's how it went on What'sapp group..

V : I am sooooo excited about the movie. I have been waiting for a long time!

S : I know right! It's Avengers Infinity War! Who can miss it?

T : We'll watch it on the day it releases okay? No compromises. No Excuses. No stepping back.

V and S : Done!

Before the day it releases. While group texting in What'sapp

V: I am sorry guys. I won't be making it for the movie

T: What the fuck? We had it planned already. I already said no stepping back.

S: Yes, you were so excited about it too. What's wrong?

V : I am really sorry. But, my parents said no to me. You guys carry on. We'll watch the next part together.

S : Why? You have any problem with us? You can tell. We'll solve it together. Don't chicken out.

V : No no. It's nothing like that. My parents denied because it'll be too late at night. And they can't risk it.

T : We are there right? We'll stick together, and will make sure nothing happens.

V : I know you are. But, for me parents are my priority. If they say NO. It's a NO for me as well.

S : C'mon da. You do this everytime. I know it'll be late. But, still try no?

V : No dude. Let's plan some other day?

T And S :left the group

It really pissed us off. She always did this to us. Whenever we planned something out. She cancelled it most of the time. We didn't miss the film though, I and T went to it.

We didn't speak to her for few days. And when our anger was put off. We texted her.

T : Hey, We are sorry for quitting the group. We were angry

S : Yes. We are. Now let's forget it and make peace?

V :seen

S : C'mon da. We are sorry no? Reply now

T : But, I have a question for you. I understand that parents are priority. Even for us they are. But, you didn't convince them. Why?

V is typing...

V : What do they expect from us?

S : What do you mean?

V : As their child. What do they expect?

T : Care. Love. Affection. Repsect. And so on….

V : Do you really meet their expectations?

S : What is this? A lecture now? We are sorry. How many times should we tell you?

V : No. You need not apologise. Your anger is justified. I am angry because you didn't understand my intentions. You didn't even wait for my reason.

T : Okay okay. Go on. You were telling something.

V : We hardly meet our parents expectations. All they expect is to understand them and their intentions towards us. They never mean any harm, all they intend to protect us from bad. They have seen the world a few more years than us.

S : Yes. True. What is this got to do with movie?

V : Getting there. They never say no to our demands. If it makes us happy, they are happy too. And on few occasions they say No, which is very rare. There will always be a good reason behind it right?

T : Yes. I get your point.

V : So. When I say, they are priority in everything. I mean it. IN EVERYTHING.

S : I get it. Thank you making me understand it today.

T : Too much philosophy. What are you? Some baba? Jokes apart. I too get it. I understand now.

V : I'm glad you guys get it. Isn't that why we are best friends?

S : We are the best!

V : Sooooo….. ..Who's up for Avengers 4?

T : Ask your parents first. Or else you'll disappoint us again.

V : Shut up. We're going and it's final.

T and S : Yeah sure. Let's see.

So how do you give love to your parents?

It's simple. Understand them and their intentions towards you. That's it. You'll make them happy than ever. Mere acknowledgement of the fact makes a huge difference.
