the bitterness

of my words

were replaced with

the sweetness of your lips

the missing pieces

of my shattered heart

had been scavenged 

by you

my sad eyes

and wandering mind

were taken by you

and put to salvation

your palms

and blazing eyes

are the destinations 

marked on my map

these sheets

i sleep in

are the ones

we always share
