you were an unwanted visitor.
step in when times stoop low, keep me company when i already made myself clear that i didn't want anyone else to acknowledge my presence but you still stayed.
be the barrier to explore what's beyond my personal space and repeat your sentences until it has been memorized, kept inside me for years though i truly wanted a life made of milk and honey but you still stayed.
lock my doors , kept me covered and unseen from the light that i needed but you think it is better to let me be isolated in my own bubble and you still stayed.
remind me of how much of a failure i am, leaving my pillow drenched in tears hoping there's someone watching me to give me the help i always needed while you told me no one loved me,
but you would always stay by my side and never leave.
―a letter to anxiety
