"So what do you love to do in your leisure time?" He asked me.
I replied-"I love to pen down my feelings".Maybe he was startled hearing my answer. I am someone who can be turned on by a good book or some deep meaningful conversations rather than flowers or dinner dates.
He smiled forcefully as if trying to absorb what I meant to say.He asked again-"So what do you write about?Life and morality?"
I cut him short saying life was more than preaching, I write about the simple pleasures and pains of life.
Maybe he understood or maybe he didn't.But his body language clearly indicated that he was not interested in what I was speaking about.He was tall,well built and being the Marketing Head of a leading Fashion Brand had a good fashion sense.
Sipping our coffee and exchanging a few formal questions.He glanced at my scarf which was kept on the table and said-"Pastel colours I believe are very pale and gloomy.Try something vibrant next time." I tried to explain to him that the colours which he called pale, are soothing to me and for me they symbolize innocence and purity.But I guess he couldn't find the hidden emotions behind the colours.
Before leaving he requested to me if I could read a few of my poems.I read them to him and he looked Disturbed.He asked-"Are you still stuck on him? You said he is your past and you don't talk anymore?"
Little did he realize that feelings Don't need regular conversations.They are always in a rendezvous with you every time you see a beautiful sight or encounter a beautiful incident.Thats why my words still find " YOU" breathing within me every time I begin writing even though you are no longer with me.
