Delhi traffic jam, parking problems and Road rage incidences are increasing day by day. Is Delhi becoming synonyms with the words Delhi=Road Rage=Traffic Jams=Road Deaths=Ego= Self Frustration?
This results in to another major human issue that public even feels degraded to give way to Ambulances and feel that by giving way to Ambulances would force them to wait more in traffic jams.
It is really a serious issue and common senses fail to understand that:
Is Road rage the platform of bringing out/killing the self frustration?
Is Road rage the platform showing the power of ill wealth by the people and their pampered wealthy children?
Is Traffic Jam the failure of administration?
Is Traffic Jam the lack of education in the drivers?
Is giving way to ambulances the burden on the commuters?
Is it the failure of administration for not creating free lane for emergencies?
Is Traffic jam the result of human haste?
Is Traffic jam due to the VIP movement?
Is Traffic jam due to non following traffic rules?
Is Traffic jam due to corruption in traffic police?
There can be hundreds of such questions. Instead of criticizing system & others, one should first of all contribute own efforts to deal with such problems and create awareness about such issues so that other people start feeling the same and one day the deaf ears & eyes of administration would definitely open up to offer solutions.
Recent study published in Times of India Delhi edition on February 5th 2017 confirms that Traffic Jams and congestion on Delhi Roads costs whopping 10 Billion Dollars or about 60,000 Crores of Indian Rupee. By mathematics even a primary student may answer that it is better to spend only 6000 Crores on Road development to save 60000 crores. Which would be only ten percent of total loss per annum.
Another question comes in to my little brain that why people are paying so high road taxes in addition to multiple taxes on buying a vehicle. When there are no roads.
It seems besides administration citizens are also equally responsible for this chaos. Road Rage is the illegitimate son of traffic jam and human frustration. Road rage is resulting into large number of brawls and even deaths on road. Killing some one in road rage not only finish the victim family even the killer family suffer same loss. A personal suggestion that before going on to drive one should do the meditation to keep his temper under control.
Yesterday after being struck in delhi traffic, I have penned down my thoughts in Hindi.

An elderly lady was stopped to pull into a parking space when a young man in his new red Mercedes went around her and parked in the space she was waiting for. The little old lady was so upset that she went up to the man and said, "I was going to park there!" The man was a real smart aleck and he said, "That's what you can do when you're young and bright."
Well, this really upset the lady even more, so she got in her car and backed it up and then she stomped on the gas and plowed right into his Mercedes. The young man ran back to his car and asked, "What did you do that for?" The little old lady smiled and told him, "That's what you can do when you're old and rich!"
A blonde had just gotten a new sports car and was out for a drive when she cut off a truck driver. He motioned for her to pull over. When she did, he got out of his truck and pulled a piece of chalk from his pocket. He drew a circle on the road and told the blonde, "Stand in the circle and don't move!"
He then went to her car and cut up her leather seats. When he turned around she had a slight grin on her face, so he said, "Oh, you think that's funny? Watch this."
He gets a baseball bat out of his truck and breaks every window in her car. When he turns and looks at her she has a smile on her face. He is getting really mad. He gets his knife back out and slices all her tires. Now she's laughing. The truck driver is really starting to lose it. He goes back to his truck and gets a can of gas, pours it on her car and sets it on fire.
He turns around and she is laughing so hard she is about to fall down.
"What's so funny?" the truck driver asked the blonde. She replied, "When you weren't looking I stepped outside the circle four times."
