Sea of Melancholia

She's inlove with the sea.

She isn't.  She doesn't even want to go near it. She is afraid of the large waves and the monsters that hide underneath it. Her memories of the place were all hideous where all her nightmares and anxieties came from. But she can never separate herself from it. No matter how much it hurts her to waste her time sitting on the lonely shore, she never failed to visit the same spot every day where he promised to come back. She will always watch the vast sea like how the sea watches the sky. She will always wait for him like how the sea waits for the sunset and sunrise. She will always wait to witness how the moon kisses the sea. She will always count the stars every night like how she counted the days of waiting for him to come home.

"When are you going to stop?" Someone asked her.

"Someday." She whispered to herself. Maybe, when the sun stops to rise and morning will never come again. Maybe, when the moon realized that kissing the sea won't make them together. Maybe, when these vast sea infront of me had evaporated into thin air and the only thing that I will see is him running towards me. Him, coming back for me.

Someday.
