Seek Peace Everyday

God, I pray tonight that whatever, whoever caused this heaviness in my heart tonight, that you remove it from my system and change it with peace and forgiveness, instead. Please help me control my emotions. Let me be reminded of how small I am as a human being. And that I should pay attention to the bigger picture instead. May you remind me everyday that I am only human, I can learn and can make mistakes at the same time.

Keep me away from emotions that would affect me mentally, spiritually and physically. Guard my heart from all the heartaches and frustrations I shouldn't invest my time thinking about.

I pray that whatever bothers me at the moment, make it go and put only peace and gratitude in my heart. Remind me not to plant anger in my heart anymore. Today, I bit my tongue while eating dinner because of a little tension inside the house.

And I immediately curse a lot inside my head. After I cooled down, I reflected on the chaos I made in my mind. It didn't helped. It only made me feel worse. That's when I remembered you.

That's when I want to seek peace. Because right now, you are my comfort. I pray that you guide us sisters to the truth. Always reveal the truth around us. And that guide us for the decisions we make everyday.

I thank you for reminding me how vulnerable and strong my heart is. Tonight, I'm asking for a peaceful and quite sleep. Let my mind be in trance while sleeping that I forget what happened a while ago. Let me be in peace that I wake up with a light and grateful heart.
