Through a cracked window on the bus, they saw her walking, alone, 6PM, too late for a broken girl. The lights on the front of a supermarket were the only sun around, what's she waiting for? a man asked himself.
Nobody knew that look on her face, different from any other in the whole city, cold, neither sad nor pleasant, insipid.
Near the avenue where She lies seated on the bus stop is Marcos sleeping in his apartment, 6th floor, dreaming about rural spaces where he is alone meeting his conscience and common sense in the form of an Eagle; the bird tells him everyday the high price that he's paying regretting the abuses inflicted to the woman, taking advantage of her search for pure love under the sheets. The man doesn't love her, but doesn't go away, she gives him what is wanted, a business where sex is exchanged for sweet lies.
She would take a seat on that sofa, to tell that guy all meanings of a troubled home, she is now 26 and is walking miles and avenues just to meet him, see him, feel him, and when the clock ticks 5PM it's time for her to leave, like a vicious circle, all she's seeking are some ears to talk to.
That day somebody knocked the door, Marcos woke up instantly and looked out the magic eye just to meet a worried burdened old woman named Cadencia, she asked a lot of questions about the girl, and Marcos sincerely didn't lie to the presence of that lady, in fact she walked into the living room and told:
The only girl who never had a father. That man was in rage with all women, when her mama left, the lunatic decided to replace his wife with that innocent creature, just to please himself like you do.
That statement boomed in the fragile mind of that boy.
It's time to care for her or leave, you still have enough time to do the first option, don't ruin it, don't choose the second one, like I once did.
When he saw her standing on the bus stop, he went to her arms, talked some words to her ears and kissed, she said goodbye, something never did.
That night the Eagle didn’t showed up in his dreams, the same thing was at the second and third hours of dark, and as the days passed by, the bird didn’t appear, the girl neither. Marcos began to feel nostalgic, sad and went visiting every weekend the bus stop, asking questions about a woman of little proportions and brown hair, - maybe she noticed my true intentions, maybe I could have been a better confident - said Marcos in his fragile and pathetic mind.
Maybe sex it’s all I knew.
Estar en el preciso momento y en el preciso lugar de un encuentro placentero merece recordarse.
