She Wants To Be Happier

She feels the love inside her. She is willing to give even more for the right person. But she kept on holding on to the promises she knows that he will never deliver. The sweet words she knows that was spoken to her, half a lie. 

A woman's intuition can never be wrong. That's what they always say.

She never believed it until now, as she types down the words, "I Love You, Always.", with those sad eyes and aching heart. 

She wants more than those long messages that says he's okay. Telling her where he is and what he's going through right now. She wants more than his explanation, why. 

Why he stopped liking her photos?

Why he sees him, liking and leaving a comment other girls' photos and posts?

Why he posts a status first before he even check her messages?

Why he makes her feel like she's ugly, she's fat and she's worthless?

There are a lot of why's but she can never get an answer.

She stopped texting him, messaging him and completely ignored him, hoping that he will send a message first, a love note or atleast say something sweet.

She stopped hoping for a fairy tale, she stopped expecting and hoping for a better man. Because he never did.

She started shielding her heart again, she put back her walls and start picking up her heart with tears in her eyes.

"They shouldn't see me cry.", she said. As she wipes the tears away, on her own, again.

So she hides the pain in her eyes and smiled, pretending that everything is alright.

But at night, as she tries her best to fall asleep, she still imagine herself happy with someone who will love her completely.

Someone who will make her a priority. Someone who will surprise on her birthday, their monthsary and anniversary. Who will leave love notes hidden in her bag or wallet. Who will give her red roses for no reason. Someone who will bring tears of happiness to her eyes.

She imagines this as she falls asleep, with tears in her eyes, again.
