Should he meet her parents?

Love is not just another feeling rather an united commitment towards life.

Nobody will love you exactly the same way you love them. Some will love you more, some less, some can't love you back at all. But that doesn't mean they are bad people.

Work hard in silence until the fortune starts running behind your back.

You will be judged by others all the time. But what they think is none of your business as what you think is also going to be none of their business. Never think of being the best, rather just think of being yourself.

She won't change her mind for him & similarly he too doesn't want to change his mind on her; after all change is the only thing which will never change.

In the upcoming week, he is about to travel down to the city where she lives & he has arranged for an appointment to meet her dad before his travel.

It was a pleasant evening at the end of a busy day in the hospital where her father is serving the people as a Child Specialist Doctor. After everyone visited the Doctor & left, he got into the cabin to meet the Doctor. The Doctor has already known him as his Daughter's friend.

Doctor: Hi Young Man... How are you???

He: Hi Uncle... Am fine. How about you???

Doctor: Well... What made you to catch up with me today???

He: Uncle... It's been so long that I wish to have a discussion with you.

Doctor: Discussion!!! What's the matter regarding???

He: Kindly don't mistake me. I would like to have your opinion on the subject.

Doctor: Which subject??? Could you please get to the point???

He: Imagine a situation like some random well settled guy approaches you for getting married with your daughter. If at all he meets your expectation for being your Son-in-law, then how would you react in that situation.

Doctor: (after a moment of silence) If that is the case, I would discuss with my daughter as she is the one to decide & I can't force or convince her just as he maybe a nice guy in my aspects.

He: What if am that random guy?

Doctor: !!!

He continued, "I have thought almost more than a year & discussed with my parents. Now with you before even telling to your daughter".

My parents neither accepted nor denied my proposal but mentioned, "What others would say?" & advised me to continue as only a good friend of each other.

Apart from being a guy & she being a woman who can be married, we both don't meet the present day society's requirements to get married together. 

I have known her for a quiet some time & I don't even know how would she react if I say her. But am sure that she too won't be interested to go against your decision. 

Doctor: (after listening to him patiently) What would you like me to do?

He: I just wanted to share with you as one of the victim of this society.

Doctor: Do you want me to discuss with her on your behalf?

He: Kindly request you not to talk with her on this regard as I don't wish my friendship with her gets ruined because of my thoughts.

Doctor: So what's the solution for your problem?

He: I have got a sense of relief after informing you now & I wish to have your kind support for the same.

Doctor: As said earlier, I can't convince or force her for getting married.

He: Let me try to sort this out & thank you for listening to me.

Doctor: You have not asked my opinion as her dad!!!

He: You can take your own time to decide to support or ignore me. If I would have not bothered about your opinion, I would not have been here today discussing with you. Bye Uncle...

Doctor: (Stares at the guy as he is leaving out of his cabin)
