When the ends meet

Everyday even the Sun sets in the evening to rise back in the morning & it does the same round the clock; you just need to be yourself & keep moving whatever happens.

Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are even incapable of forming such opinions.

Never downgrade your dreams to match the reality; upgrade your belief to match your vision.

Character is decided by what you do when there is nobody to watch you. You have lived with your parents in the Past; they did their responsibilities & have brought up what you are now in the Present. So you are the one who need to think, decide & create your Future from now on with their support.

It has been a very rough day at work & also she was feeling heavy inside herself. When the Sun was about to get to sleep, she had already made a plan of meeting him which she couldn't able to avoid as he is around the city after long time.

If you really want something from someone, frame it as an offer rather than a request. He was waiting in a casual attire at the height of excitement inside & patience outside to make such an offer.

Her mind was not quiet good that day. With a simple outlook she walked down to him at a busy crowded joint. The moment they arrived in front of each other it was a warm welcome with a gentle smile in the face & a firm hand shake when she was actually tired to the extreme at the end of the day. Her mobile battery was about to die.

He just loved the feel when she arrived on the spot. His heart was pumping the blood more than required to the various parts of the body. Still he maintained a calm face & both exchanged the basic greetings starting with "How are you???"

Little did the other person had known all these internal things happening inside & that is applicable to both of them. They had a small walk around the place when the conversation lighted up as they have met after months & finally took their seat opposite to each other to have a cold coffee during the end of Hot Summer day outside.

The cold coffee joined their conversation when he was feeling heated up inside waiting for the right time to trigger his offer while at the same time she was feeling hungry as she was waiting eagerly to sip the cold coffee. Both felt better & relaxed after taking the first sip. She was enjoying the taste of the coffee when his mind was getting hyperactive with every sip. 

"So what next after getting settled in career?" he exclaimed. She made a subtle reply by saying, "Would like to stay happy as always!!!"

He with a mysterious tone, "Your friends are getting hitched. How about you?" & her response was like, "I will take some more time before that"

With a laugh he continued, "What will you do if I say I want to marry you?". A moment of silence interfered the conversation.

Now it became her turn for the laugh & in a funny tone she said, "I will think about it..."

He interrupted with a firm voice, "Then if you too like me, go speak with your parents about the same"

This time with a shivering voice she reacted, "What???"

He bursted out his emotions in words, "Yeah... I have been thinking about to make this conversation happen since longtime but I had been always afraid of getting ruined the good friendship which I share with you now"

She became quiet & started listening to him silently.

He continued, "If at all you got worried for what I have asked you now, just a simple text as soon as leaving now can make me understand & I can still continue to be just a friend as always. Else I would take it as a positive response. Also I don't want to go against either of the parents for the sake of ourselves. So again if they are not in a position to accept, we can still continue to be only as friends"

Meanwhile two hours has passed without any realization of the time running behind their conversation & it was the time to say Bye.

She made a sigh & left the place leaving him puzzled & clueless.

As soon as she moved out of his visible range, she took out her phone just to know it was already dead out of charge while he was moving in the opposite direction staring at his phone.

Did she took her phone to check out the time or to text him for emphasizing the friendship?

Did she too was waiting for the day to just hear out to him?

Did their friendship died similar to her phone charge which was dead?

Will she discuss with her parents if at all she just wanted to check out the time in her phone?
