They sat facing each other.
She frowned, he sighed.
She gritted her teeth and sighed heavily,
He closed his eyes for a few and lowered his head.
She tilted her head a bit to the right,
He shook his head and smiled shyly.
She stared at him, he stared back, still smiling.
Her eyes turned bloodshot, he shook his head, wide-eyed.
She lowered her head as tears fell down her cheeks, and he stared, eyebrows knitted, as his own eyes reddened.
She heaved a long sigh, stopped the tears from falling, and looked at him again.
He stared, she smiled.
He smiled back, shyly, and she smiled even wider.
He laid out his hand, palms up, and she reached for his hand.
She held it tightly, and he held hers tightly as well.
Tears came out of his eyes, but she wiped them off.
Wordless, it is.
But it's full of understanding.
Soundless, yes.
But it's full of meaning.
