The fifth benefit that comes from having a sponsored post is that a business is able to get back into the profitable online advertising market. A few years ago the only real option for a business was to buy ad space on popular websites that are generally seen as "high traffic." The problem with this scenario is that not everyone will be interested in whatever it is that the business is advertising. Therefore, the ads that are advertised on popular websites may be viewed by the people who visit these websites but may not necessarily be read by those who do not have an interest in what the business is advertising.

The sixth benefit is that the sponsored posts that are placed on blogs tend to encourage a higher level of engagement on the part of the users of the blogs. In other words, they tend to create a forum for discussion between the people who are visiting the website and those who are posting their comments and reviews. In many cases the comments left on the sponsored post will become a point of discussion that tends to drive more traffic to the original website. This is because the users who leave their comments on the post will tend to engage with others who are commenting on the post. This can result in more interactions on the part of both the writer and the targeted audience of the post.
