Something About An Escape

Info

*****Yay! This is not your type of literary piece, but a friendly suggestion.

// Trigger Warning //

If you can't love yourself, at least accept it. Accept that it needs transformation, growth and don't get yourself stuck in the mindset that you were born to suffer. At least give it a time to transform, give it a space to grow.

Don't confine yourself in your old dark room and avoid spending so much of your time in staring in the abyss which you thought is the only thing that understands you. Here's the truth— sad songs , sad movies, sad novels and sad anything  could have, by your thinking, helped you once or twice, but they haven't really helped you.  It is just your thought stimulated by sadness itself,  just an illusion that will entice you until you finally decided to cut your own life. They are just breaking you more. Yes, sadly, they are. Stop gradually feeding yourself with poison. Aside from cigarette and drugs, it is another addiction you should avoid. These sad things should be appreciated occasionally , not everyday or not as often as you do.

There's more to life than just living in your own created world just because you thought you don't belong in this world. There's more to life than just attempting to cut you own life or than just thinking of doing it everyday. Don't over agonize the melancholy or torment you have —or don't ever.

Do yourself a favor by giving the things that it wants or by knowing what it wants— aside from killing it. The first resort is try changing your poignant habits. Instead , try to fill your mind with the typically beautiful, happy, vibrant things. Try to get in touch with the typically good, happy, people—or if not , try talking about your condition to those who you think cause you more sadnesss in the hope that by letting them know, they might change their behavior towards you. Consult your parents, siblings , friends, or relatives or a psychiatrist by exactly telling what you feel.

If you really think that you have already done all these things , or if you fear that these might not ever help you, always remember that trying is essential and trying again is your last resort.

If you can't love yourself , at least try.
