Method 1 - Close conflicting programs

Click on the problem program to open Programs and Features. Then click Update or Uninstall.

If you choose to update, you'll just need to follow the prompts to finish the process. However, if you choose to uninstall, you will be prompted to uninstall the program and then redownload it or use its installation disk to reinstall it.

Windows 7 users can find the list of all installed programs by clicking Start. Scroll your mouse over the list to see the tab. The program's uninstall utility may be displayed on the list.
