Still..

Once upon a dream ..

I saw you holding my hands

Walking In that garden of flowers

I still see the garden.. but just it.

We used to share things

Talk till 3am , talking absurd

I still talk today .. Talk alot

But having no one to hear

The dream to play with the waves

With sun shining effulgent

Laugh and smiles without bounds

Nothing stops that laugh in my trance

Fighting and arguing

Over the silliest matters

And crying to bed

I still fight .. Fight with the nightmares

The pavement the bench

Are still the same but bare

And the lamppost shines dimmer

But no one seems to care .

The road that we wished never ended

I see a bright light so unclear

Wish if it ends here.. verging  on

It becomes blurrier.

If there is a day , I’ll be what I was

I’ll let you see me then

When the fragile little heart

Breathes and is strong again.
