story never ends

do you know the feeling, where you're lying in your bed staring at the ceiling feeling so empty as memories flashes through your head, you begin to cry but you hold your your mouth to suffocate the noises, but the next thing you know Is that its 3:00 am now. that's what she felt every night. after that night, all of her nights have been like this. that night, that night she can never forget.

tears rolling down her cheeks, but she shows no emotion in the daylight. she has mastered the art to pretend to be emotionless. all she asks herself, why am i crying, why does it hurts down to my core. you think moving on is easy, its not. ask her, she'll tell what moving on means. burnt all the pictures in the attic, removed all the frames on her walls, burnt all the letters as well. but she barely recognises, that those burnt letters are the witness of her sickness.

why people have started romanticising heart breaks, she wonders as she sips her coffee, reading the book he gifted the day he left. he took her heart with her, and now she wanders with her lifeless body, dreaming about what could have been.

no false hopes, we all know, the story never ends.
