taking your life away?

Regret comes a second before your last breath

In that one second, you wished had not done it

In that one second, you begged anyone, someone, to not take your life

In that one second, you struggled to fight for your life

The life you thought was nothing but pain and suffering

The life you thought was so exhausting to live

The life you thought was not worth it

In that one second, everything flashes before your eyes

You could've been someone

You could've overcome that phase of depression

You could've been contented and happy

You could've continued living

But, that one second passes

And you've fallen asleep for eternity

You wouldn't hear me if I call you

You wouldn't feel anything if I pinch you

You lie there lifelessly

And I'm here breathing heavily

"Was it worth it?" I asked

"Tell me, was it worth it?"

Was it worth it? 

Exchanging your life to get rid of the pain?

Was it worth it?

Leaving all behind and never come back again?

Tell me!

Oh right, silly me...

How could you ever tell me?

You're already a lifeless body

Slowly getting erased for eternity
