It starts with a hello, a little nudge from your heart to mine.
Is it true that you found me more than a little fine.
I clear my throat and say hey back, to try and sound cool
You smile one of those dashing smiles, makes me feel like a fool.
You say, "so I heard about this new restaurant, wanna try it out?"
I almost say something stupid like,"Or maybe mouth to mouth."
I want to smack my face, but you're still waiting for a reply.
Slapping my conscience I say, "Sure, it should be worth a try."
You smile again, and breathe out a breath of relief.
