The Blind and the Mute

His smile. That kind of smile.

So enchanting yet breaks my heart every once in a while.

His laugh oh yes! His laugh. It tickles every inch of me but also stabs hard enough to make me feel empty.

His touch. The touch that sets me on fire but in a few moments also turns me into ashes.

His voice. So soft to make me feel safe but deep enough to drown me into the unknown.

His words. It gives relief but at the same time, without me knowing, I am already being poisoned. Slowly but surely.

His wounds. Freshly cut and stingy. But they were never as thick and as painful as mine. For every heartbreak he gets, I acquire two lashes at a time.

I'm always asking, "why should he always give himself to the wrong woman when it's supposed to be mine?"

"Why should he choose another when I'm the first one in line?"

"Why should he fell inlove with other to just leave him broken when I'm the one whose always here to love him unconditionally and without hesitation?"

Guess we're just two people whose both afraid and waiting. Afraid of losing and waiting for the right timing.

I believe that this will be a long and painful journey until he may come to see,that along the way, I was always there never letting go of his hand and that hopefully he'll realize that we were meant to be...

Until then, I will gather all the courage I can get just to tell him how much I love him.
